@@ZevMeth_originaljewishmusic Yeah I'd love to have it but too rich for my blood already....it's a 20 year old car. A nice 20 year old car, but hardly a collector's item.
3800 was the best engine GM made. better than the SBC, better than the LS. it moved more people and moved more industry than anything they made. they were cheap, easy to work on, reliable. that's what makes a great engine. not huge dyno numbers, not swaps into miatas. just "it did it's job better than anything else."
With crossovers replacing comfort cruisers, I’ve been hoping someone could make a convertible crossover work. The Murano was the wrong platform, and the Evoque too expensive and too complex for a car that will rarely go off road. VW is giving it a shot in Europe with a T-Roc convertible, which looks like a lifted Golf Cabriolet.
cheap maintenance, decent economy, REALLY comfortable. and when you gotta pin the throttle on the on-ramp, it will boogie in a very unexpected way! those ultras were sweet

The past 5 years have been rough on the general public when it comes to the idea of buying cars. Prices were so high I think it soured the taste of the experience.
