Wow, this is nice! I never thought about this combination. And I guess that by combining two similar or different tarp shelters, also many other useful combinations could be found. Lots of room for creativity!

Set up 3-4 tarps in the”plow point,” in a square, leaving one 2-3 ft gap as an entrance. Then you have a square “teepee” just leave a chimney in the middle and you will have it made!😂😂😂

It is a great Idea and would be better for backpacking as it would be lighter than a one-person tent and could fit many people comfortably. Just subscribed and look forward to more awesome content!

I like the idea of a large shelter like this but I've a couple of questions. What's to keep the rain water from running down the tree and onto the "floor" of your shelter? As large as this is, what's to keep the rain out if the wind shifts? It seems to me that this type of shelter would need some sort of trenching around the tree and some means of closing off the open area if the wind shifts.
All tarp set ups are relying on wind direction, I check the charts for wind direction etc , I've never had an issue like that with rain
