Just the fact you can actually off-road these things is my favourite! Last weekend I chewed a path all the way up a climb in loose sand gravel and shale stone and it felt just like doing it in the full size XJ I have on 35s. ~keith
I was wondering if those backside fenders were fabricated and if is there something similar within the aftermarket that can be purchased for the Honcho?
They are UDR fenders and the closest you can find to those fenders aside from buying a UDR body and chopping it up is rear fenders off a Losi Baja Rey. I doubt the 1/10 version would work so you would need the 1/6 rear fenders. Yes, the rear Baja Rey fenders are sold seperately.
Great video, thinking of pulling the rigger and buying one here in Canada as well. Do you have a video of your interior mods you have done to the Mike the SCX6? Thanks
Hi, I love the modification made on the rear, those mudguards or bodies were really needed, nice job. 😉 So those two pieces are parts of the Traxxas UDR? Or can they be made from something else? Thank you. P.S. (let's say I don't have the SCX6 Honcho yet, but I am already enjoying thinking about modifications). 🤩😎
@@ProNoobRCCool, they are new and I can’t find anyone that has tried them yet. They are molded to fit the tire and cost more than the two stage foams they also came out with.
Looks great! out of all the tires you have tested what has been the best so far? im considering the Tusks for my Scx6, but would love to hear your opinion be for i pull the plug
Have you considered painting the body with bedliner? Obviously the bedliner will add weight, but i doubt it would be that substantial considering what the RC itself weighs.
@@ProNoobRC cool, thanks for that. I only found that body on Amazon but it does not described what scale it is ? Seems kind of pricey to obtain some bedsides @ $ 77.00 (not incl. shipping) What does one use the rest of the body for ? I really don't want more clutter laying around. ('cause I have too much junk all ready !) Do you have a write up article involving how these were installed ? That could be helpful 😎
The UDR is a 1/7 scale. If you are considering bedsides, Losi has some for the Losi Baja Rey which comes in a 1/10 and a V1 1/6 scale and are seperate pieces. The 1/6 scale should work with modification and could probably be found for like $30/40. I have the Super Baja Rey v1 but it is still brand new and I'm not gonna tear it all apart to see if it works on the SCX6.
Dang thi😢Scx6 Honcho looks mean 💯🔥. Best looking truck of this size on TH-cam IMO.
Wow! Thank you! Absolutely love the 6th scales! I hope more companies jump on board!
Looks Awesome, So Tempted to pull the trigger & get one 🙂
I recently picked up a scx6 and I gotta say it's one of my favorite trucks. So much fun on the trails

Cool truck. Very nice looking wheels. It’s a beast.
Keep on the good work
That top pice you cut off the cage if you reverse it it fits perfect in side the body (roll cage) 👍🏼💯
Oh!! Dang I tossed it!
@@ProNoobRC 😢 for next time.. love you’re work with the 6 all the way from down under 🍻
It is indeed looks much better, love the look!
Cheers! And the proformance is 10x better now! Just got back from testing it!
That's a cool truck ...! Been thinking about one of those . I know another guy that's getting one so won't be only one out there .
Jesse and myself were the only ones with one at one point and now we have a large group that goes out Sunday’s.. if you buy it, they will come! Lol
Those wheels look good
Thank you!
Truck looks sick
So do yours! Plus your foams are perfect!
love it

No, but we will do one for ya!
Those wheels and tires look aggressive! The truck looks badass!
Thank you! Very happy with turn out!

Best to plan ahead lol! Yup Traxxas UDR bedsides
It would also be cool if Eliminator RC would let you guys do a review on the new one piece closed cell foams from Powerhobby
I’ll ask em!

So far the Tusks on Steady Foams is the best!
Soo clean. Where can I get this bedsides?
Traxxas UDR bedsides. Stock body. We are looking into creating our own and selling soon too so stay tuned!
@@ProNoobRC any update on bedsides ?
@ProNoobRC did yall ever start making them? Looks killer but hard to justify buying a 70 dollar udr body just to cut up and use half
Just painted over an existing body?
Looks like a beast
Yup! And can sand and repaint as much as we need until it cracks I guess
Have you considered painting the body with bedliner? Obviously the bedliner will add weight, but i doubt it would be that substantial considering what the RC itself weighs.
I want these bedsides. Where'd you get those ? Print them ?
Nah! Traxxas UDR body. Fits mint!

I would love a link for the rims and tires and for the bedsides
Oh, and the wheels are power hobbies painted in house
What are the bed sides from ?
Traxxas UDR stock body.
It would be nice if someone in Canada would stock Steadyfoams.
You trashed it..
I know!!…..isn’t it beautiful!! 🤩
