That lion that went into a campsite was in Mabuasehube in Botswana. Tourists have turned those lions into a nuisance because they leave food for the lions so that they can get nice up-close pictures. You are not supposed to feed the animals, because they now harass campsites searching for easy food and this makes it dangerous for other tourists.
They should be fined for doing so. Unbelieveable selfish & arrogant
TOURISTS USUALL LEAVE THIER BRAINS AT HOME AND THEN GO ON TRAVEL!

Just ban tourism and leave the wild, wild. Simple solution. We have worldwide zoos. No need to harass the wild animals in their natural habitats. They are preserves for wildlife...not humans !!

In every national park or forest in India-the rangers will never get close up and front even if tourists insist . They do not necessarily keep the tourists quiet though and this is because these are natural and villages near by -its a happy co-exitence-no pretentious acts.-its two fold -respecting the animals in their habitat and also keeping humans safe-end off. This is a lot of animal bullying for social media views be it you tube, tik tok etc etc.

I still dont understand the safety of an open top vehicle in lion safaris with a tour guide positioned as a bait in a special seat at the front. Damn!
All animals in safari parks and conservancies throughout Africa were born and have grown accustomed to vehicles driving around constantly. People getting out of safari vehicles however, they are not accustomed to and then it's "game" on! I should mention that tourists are warned constantly not to make noise or do anything to attract or annoy the animals. Humans are idiots and sometimes they get what they deserve.

I had no idea how safaris can terrorize the native animals who are searching for food. Open-air vehicles just a crazy idea. Too many of us in their turf. So much for conservation parks which have become like rodeo grounds.
ive been to an open air safari, its crazy, you feel so exposed, which you are, and the driver also panics once in a while which makes everyhthing much worse, im never doing it again

Why would you sneak and touch a Lion without its permission. Even with a house cat you present yourself and ask for permission before petting to avoid getting scratched. Learn respect.

I stayed behind at the Johannesburg zoo after gates were closed and a male lion was following s female lion around......all he did was to look at me and he just said WHU!!!!!......that sound echoed in the whole neighborhood it was so loud I left quick quick!!!

The lion whisperer is true. Thats his lion vayetsi. Kevin is a great man and a conservationist. He has a unique bond with all the lions , though there are some clear favorites like meg, amy, bobcat, gabby etc. His posts are a delight to watch.

That’s horrible you call this : went terribly wrong, scaring people and giving the animals a bad reputation. There is more wrong happening in our streets and in homes. Shooting in schools, abuse of all kinds. Wild life should be respected & risks should be accepted. We need not more wild life haters from fear of not understanding. Let’s learn to live with harmony and balance with all living creatures of this earth, and if something is out of balance, it’s the human race.

Horribly wrong??? Come on. The vast majority of these incidents were down to: stupidity; carelessness to get that perfect shot/video; chatting/making too much noise; failure to anticipate and/or simply not getting the Hell out when the opportunity presents itself. So many of these incidents people are laughing as if a game when being chased only to start to accelerate at the last moment. Some real Natural Selection moments here eg winding down the window and waving material at a leopard 😂😩

I went to the Masai Mara with Big Foot Safaris. I felt very safe as the vans had pop tops you could open, but it was optional. None of the animals approached the vehicles, except for maybe one lion but he was passing through and ignored us. No bathrooms so you have to pee outside, but they take you to a place considered safe. My guess is these videos were maybe before they started enforcing people to not feed the animals? Might not be like that everywhere, though.

That leopard being small comparatively mindset will get someone hurt bad or worse. They are so quick and agile and they can kill ya with one bite. Never underestimate them.
