This was on my bucketlist! Well, it still is... cant believe it is gone now... on the other hand, some day there will be a new tree, and the base and roots will always bee the same! I hope they get the basterd who did this, and send them to jail for about 25 years. When he comes out, there will be a new fully grown Sycamore Gap Tree!

Hi Amy, I visited in early September and I was lucky with the weather! Try to do it on a dry day if possible. The hills are a little challenging but you can take your time :)! It is a wonderful walk and worth doing
Would be really good if you could add in a photo of the movie scenes into your videos. It’s really hard as a viewer to imagine the scene your talking about.
