    I’ve said before, and say it again, the process you have to go thru just to get to what you have to work on just baffles me, it is no wonder repair cost are thru the window. Thanks for the video sir, enjoyed it.

    My buddy owns a composite manufacturing business and I have been working with him on developing new products to manufacture. It sounds like tractor hoods might be worth looking into. A vacuum infused carbon fiber/kevlar hood would be much stronger compared to a factory hood. It wouldn't be hard to get gel coat blended in the correct john deere green color and the parts could also have a clear uv topcoat to prevent fading of the green.

    Warren should be teaching at a University. I know for sure kids would be lining up to take his classes. Future engineering employers would ask “hey, I can see you took Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics…..but where is your course load in Heavy Diesel 101 through 401 taught by Warren?”. Great post as always! Thank you.

    That customer was sure lucky, that could have been so much worse. The spring must have faild during a compression stroke, hence why it didn't fall all the way out, got shoved back up, got bent and the stayed in place.

    I spray every connector with wd 40. Since I started doing that I have not broke anymore connectors. But everything is expensive we have a 75 C Challenger. Many years ago I stopped to blow out the radiator. And I made the mistake of running over the grill. It weighs 7 pounds and costs 1150$. I managed to find one in Cat surplus parts in Australia. It was delivered in 2 days for 750$. I learned my lesson I never leave the grill close to the tractor when I remove it.

    I had a little nissan car a couple months ago. Crank sensor was melted. I replaced the exhasut gasket next to it which was bad. New crank sensor and wiring and it wouldnt start. Factory diagram had inverted pin numbers. It then ran and drove gave it back to customer. Comes back week later melted crank sensor and wiring. In the end the spark plugs didnt get changed it plugged the catalytic converter up and it was blowing the exhaust out anywhere it could. Melted wiring sucks

    Due to a lawsuit YEARS ago is the why. I think it was the Dodge brothers vs Ford in the early 1900's? From what I remember it was the CEO has a duty to the shareholders. So in a publicly traded company you have to always be growing. Even if it's nonsense buying or getting warm bodies to doodle on paper. Other wise there is the possibility of a lawsuit.

    • @yowser8780

    I wonder how the software performs compression test

    • @nelsonsturtz256
      @nelsonsturtz256 ปีที่แล้ว

      The software compares the difference in engine revolutions of the cylinders. With the camshaft and crankshaft sensors it determines what position each compression or exhaust piston is in. In other words, it is actually a comparison of revolutions between cylinders but it is understood that less compression in a cylinder translates to more revolutions per minute in the measurement.

    • @ianlulham

    The reason why people are buying new equipment is because it's getting harder and harder to find replacement parts.. you could have a well maintained machine but if you're missing a crucial part that maybe on back order or no longer available.. well now you got a lawn ornament for the front lawn... This is designed by the head corporations.. whether it will be cars to farm equipment.. see quality is no longer.. cause it loses revenue unless you buy a small piece of equipment that is today's throw away models.. so that every 2 years or 5 you have to buy new.. and at a price 3 times of what it's worth.. welcome to America 2023...
