If these stingers work on northern fish then they will work for me in the sunny south. Thanks Brother for the great tip.

This is one of the best videos on this subject. I'm definitely going to make some of these tonight!

Thanks! I couldn’t find a good one at the time I created it. A 90+ year old man working at the Bass Pro in Auburn Hills, MI taught this method to me. I couldn’t tell you how many walleye I’ve caught with them. I now tie with 14lb suffix mono and seagaur red label 20lb fluro; both are extremely effective. I also use size 8 and 10’s… 10’s are good in early season for short strikes and finiky fish. 8’s are when the bites on and they’ll smash whatever moves

Try using a dental pick. It has a curve that holds the knot till you turn your hand around to release once it's in the right spot. like the jig Hope to see you on the river... crap ice fishing this year but It's just about time for the walleye...Tight lines

Seems that I read somewhere, perhaps In Fisherman mag, that red is the first color to disappear in the water column. Regardless, thanks for the video.

I was thinking recently how the yellow tip and steel hook hasn't been getting bit as much as northland's red offerings.
