dANNEYFTW aw cmon man, don’t hate on people that don’t play the game but love the cinematics. You can’t expect non-players to connect every single dot. It’s always good to have new audiences take interest in these products
Saurfang's son was killed by the Lich King during another in game cinematic called The Wrathgate. HE was later resurrected, similarly to Sylvanas and the player characters along with Saurfang slay him a second time. The parts that you see here where it's winter are taking place after we kill him that second time. That's why it's snowy because the battle took place on a continent called Northrend that is covered in ice and snow.
Alliance player for 11 years... Thrall and Saurfang were always loved by my friends and I and respected this cinematic shows you just a little bit of why......
Saurfang's reference to "what I've seen? What I've done?" is significant. Saurfang was a part of the corrupted Horde that committed genocide against the peaceful Draenei that shared their original homeworld. Here's a portion of a skit you see played out in the Borean Tundra zone of Wrath of the Lich King that might shed some light on it: High Overlord Saurfang says: I drank of the same blood your father did, Garrosh. Mannoroth's cursed venom pumped through my veins as well. High Overlord Saurfang says: I drove my weapons into the bodies and minds of my enemies. High Overlord Saurfang says: And while Grom died a glorious death - freeing us all from the blood curse - he could not wipe away the terrible memory of our past. High Overlord Saurfang says: His act could not erase the horrors we committed. High Overlord Saurfang pauses. High Overlord Saurfang says: The winter after the curse was lifted, hundreds of veteran orcs like me were lost to despair. High Overlord Saurfang says: Our minds were finally free, yes... Free to relive all of the unthinkable acts that we had performed under the Legion's influence. High Overlord Saurfang nods. High Overlord Saurfang says: I think it was the sounds of the draenei children that unnerved most of them... You never forget... High Overlord Saurfang says: Have you ever been to Jaggedswine Farm? When the swine are of age for the slaughter... It's that sound. The sound of the swine being killed... It resonates the loudest. Those are hard times for us older veterans. Garrosh Hellscream says: But surely you cannot think that those children were born into innocence? They would have grown up and taken arms against us! High Overlord Saurfang shakes his head. High Overlord Saurfang says: I am not speaking solely of the children of our enemies... High Overlord Saurfang pauses. High Overlord Saurfang says: I won't let you take us down that dark path again, young Hellscream. I'll kill you myself before that day comes... Saurfang turns away and looks at the map instead. Garrosh Hellscream says: How have you managed to survive for so long, Saurfang? Not fallen victim to your own memories? Saurfang turns around for a moment to answer. High Overlord Saurfang says: I don't eat pork... High Overlord Saurfang spits.
Varok Saurfang, veteran of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wars, master of the cleave, brother of broxigar the red who was the only mortal to make a titan bleed. The saurfang family produce PURE BADASSES!
Watch the wrathgate cinematic to learn how his son died. It's old, but it gives things context, Saufang's opinion on the alliance changed due to events in wrath, it's part of why what Sylvanus did doesn't sit well with him.
The only reactor that I’ve seen acknowledging what he meant when he said “claiming what is mine.” He was indeed talking about dying a warrior’s death because he felt like the cause he fought for his entire life was gone after the burning of Teldrassil.
Saurfang was is and ever will be the most legendary and honorable orc warrior the horde has to offer, he is haunted by the attack on teldrassil, he disapproves of the way Sylvanas is leading the horde down a dark path, but he refuses to betray the horde, the young troll shaman admires him for his courage and wants to fight alongside him in the battle, he shows major chops confronting saurfang and convincing him to live on.
Saurfangs son was a boss in the expansion Wrath of the lich king, he was taken over by the scourge and turned into a frost death knight. Saurfang comes with you during the raid that you fight and kill his son.Hes been sad and torn ever since then.
The battle is seen in the battle for Azeroth cinematic trailer. There is also a new cinematic called Lost Honour which also follows up this cinematic. His son was killed and resurrected as an undead soldier. He had to kill his own undead son in the Assault on Icecrown Citadel.
his son was kill by the lich king at the wrathgate theres an in game cinematic that shows it but then lich king raised him as a death knight who wound up being defeated by the heroes, after the battle he shows up and collects his sons body
I'm not the one who noticed this but Saurfang (the soldier) makes the same hand gesture on the trolls chest that he did with his son after the troll gave him the necklace. I thought that was a neat and subtle gesture that some might have missed. 😊 Also please react to the World of Warcraft mini series "Lords of War"! There's 5 parts and they're not animated but the story's they tell are good! (They're pretty violent though! I know you guys are kind of squeamish sometimes) 😅😄 Edit: just rewatched a couple of them again and they're extremely gore-y 😅😅 I don't know if yall should react to it now. 😶
@See Jane Go TV, they released a new on since Blizzcon. How the order of the video's are storywise: Warbringers Sylvanas, here you see that they burned the World Tree (on that tree the night elves live and thats also the fiery bit you see in the start). You didn't see a reaction from Saurfang (the old soldier), hes still very capable of fighting ;). The Old Soldier cinematic came somewhat after that, where we saw the reaction of Saurfang as it was not an honourable act to burn down the tree and innocence night elves. He became furious as you saw and didn't see the point of fighting for a leader that fights without honor (Sylvanas, which is the horde Warchief). Further in the storyline we get to the Battle of Lord Aeron, which is actually the cinematic of Battle for Azeroth where you see the horde and alliance go head to head. Within the game you get to push through the gates and the alliance falls into a trap of Sylvanas, but they escape in time thanks to Jaina which you also saw a warbringer of. Within that battle they get to fight Saurfang and hes all alone, he loses the fight but does not get killed, hes taken as a prisoner instead. Thats where the story is left untill the following cinematic: th-cam.com/video/LKZ7ygLTR0g/w-d-xo.html They also released a damn awesome ingame cinematic for the new warfront which will get released within a month or two, that one is called Terror of Darkshore: th-cam.com/video/HLKS0Jq9U_E/w-d-xo.html you might miss the context of what's going on there tho. Hopefully this gets you up to pace a bit story wise :)
He wanted to alone because the guilt of the innocent dying from the invasion, which was the burning tree part, was eating him up from the inside. Lord Saurfang is an orc of honor and comes from a family of honorable and impressive orc bloodline. The blizzard scene was from another war against the Lich King and his son was killed and then resurrected as basically a slave to the Lich King. After killing him again, Lord Saurfang took his sons body away to honor him.
Trolls in Warcraft have had Jamaican accent from Warcraft 3(?) just before they created World of Warcraft. Troll boy is Shaman, gifted in communicating with elements and asking their help for healing or to crack earth open to swallow enemy leg. Old Orc, Varok Saurfang, has seen many battles and by old Orcish tradition sees battle as glorious and to die with axe in hand a honorable death. However he has been so good that he has seen, perhaps too many battles. With time his honorable way is legendary among other warrriors but Saurfang has seen many War Crimes commited, last being burning of Teldrasil world tree housing thousands of civilians in the tree. After that, only way he saw him finding warriors death he hoped for, was to attack Alliance forces alone, with no markings of him belonging to Horde and carrying torch so enemy scouts would alert others of his coming, he won't attack sleeping, unprepared men or women. Why he returned to fight for Horde? -Horde is collection of races others see as evil and some of them are while some of them were. Orcs came to this world to murder and kill after drinking demons blood that corrupted any who drank it. -Trolls have been seen as savages and it did not help for most of them to practice cannibalism(of their own and other races). -Tauren, Bull/Cow men however are outside of this view and are mostly seen as opponents than straight out enemies for most only fight for survival. -Undead or Forsaken were controlled by Lich King, after freeing themself from his will sought to return to their old lives, however how do you tell apart minion of Lich King and freed undead? This led to murder of many freed undeads and bad blood towards living. -Blood Elfs have it other way around, survivals of their old capital were entrusted, during war for racist human commander who just wanted to find reason to get rid of anyone who wasn't human. You don't have to wonder too hard why Blood Elfs lost their trust towards Alliance. -Goblins of Bilgewater Cartel...they have pledged their support to Horde but are otherwise seen as any other Goblin in world, scientists who do not worry about safety that much and as any Goblin seek to make money.
The kid, Zekhan - better known as Zappyboi -- is a troll. Troll culture is inspired by Jamaica, that's why he and all trolls have that accent. Saurfang's son Dranosh was killed by the Lich King, raised as an undead Death Knight and killed again by us heroes of Azeroth. Could you please react to Blizzard's newest cinematic Lost Honor?
Warbringers queen azshara you guys missed that one :P pretty dope. There is also 3 more ingame cinematics from battle of lorderon that you would probably enjoy with a bit of lore
They just revealed a sort of sequel to this at Blizzcon. Its not a direct sequel though, since there's been some events between this cinematic and the new one. One event is the battle, which we saw in the BFA cinemathic which you guys already reacted to earlier
No. That's a followup to the Cinematic trailer, since that takes part after the battle, where they imprison Saurfang after the horde loses the battle of lordaeron.
So there 3 big cinematics telling the story of the beggining of the expansion, you've already watched 2 of them. Chronologically they would go: The Old Soldier > Battle for Azeroth Cinematic Trailer > Lost Honor
Hello guys! I have to say... you are amazing! I love your World of Warcraft reactions, all of them! Regarding this specific cinematic, It was moments before the Battle for Azeroth that you reacted to a while back, keep doing more!! Pls!! PS: his son was killed by the Lich King and raised as undead, so the players had to slain him again..
After this I HIGHLY suggest you watch the in-game cinematics for the Battle for Lordaeron. They show more things Sylvanas has done to make Saurfang sour. The reason I say this is because Blizzard JUST released a new cinematic called "Lost Honor" and the events from the battle are referenced that will go over your head unless you see it.
his son died fighting the lichking and mindcontroled as an undead soldier by lichking and senior saurfang is leading the allied soldier to defeat his son,to kill him the 2nd time
Where you there at the Wrathgate when Dranosh was killed? I was. Did you see the Lich King steal his soul. I did. Did you lead 24 other raiders into Icecrown Citadel only to kill Dranosh again after the Lich King raised him as a Death Knight and forced him to bar the path into the fortress? I did. I was there to watch Sarurfang come clam his sons body after I killed him a second time. For the Horde, Sarufang. Those of us who where there will never forget your loss.
My heart and soul belongs to the Alliance, but Saurfang is still a hero to me^^ Saurfang's son was killed by the Lich King (in Angrathar the Wrath Gate cinematic), then he was raised as a death knight and was killed again by the players. The kid is a troll, jungle troll of a Darkspear Tribe to be specific, they have jamaican accents in this world^^
Now rewatch the „Battle for Azeroth Trailer Cinematic“ because this ist After the cinematic „Old Soldier“ and then react to the new Cinematic „Lost Honor“ pls !!
You need to react to K/DA Pop Star music Video from League of Legends: th-cam.com/video/UOxkGD8qRB4/w-d-xo.html As well as the World's final opening ceremony 2018: th-cam.com/video/WYSJIoehGq0/w-d-xo.html
They did show the battle. In the Battle for Azeroth cinematic trailer that you guys reacted to.
Don't expect higher IQ than room temperature from reaction channels.

Part two is the bfa cinematic trailer and the 3rd part released at blizzcon 2018 (2nd november) is "lost honor"
Finally! This is one of the videos I've wanted to see you guys react to the most! 😀
Saurfang and his brother are legends, his brother Broxigar is the greatest warrior in Warcraft Lore!

The cronological cinematic order is Old Soldier - BfA Cinematic - Lost Honor
for the horde, for sylvanas, killing the weak of the alliance
