I make a difference! 😂 I love your energy, upbeat voice, and expert advice. It's helping me be more motivated to clean. Problems with mental health have led to me being overwhelmed by the amount of cleaning that has been neglected. None of my go-to cleaners seem to work well enough. Your diy cleaners make everything easier. Thank you for all you do.
I make a difference! And so do you. I didn’t learn these skills as a kid, and I really struggle with cleaning well. You've helped me a lot. Thank you 💚
After watching your chanel for a few years, I love cleaning with vinegar. I am repeatedly surprised at how very well it works. Thanks for all of the great tips! And, I made a difference.
I love love love your homemade cleaning products. I buy very few ready-made ones -- only for very specific, difficult jobs. For example, our water here is very hard, loaded with minerals, so the toilets need a good dose of a commercial descaler once in awhile. Other than that and one or two other heavy-duty products, the homemade ones do the job equally as well or even better at a fraction of the cost. Your degreaser using Castile soap is "weapons grade!" Thank you, Melissa!!!
"I make a difference!" And now I am off to hang a bag of vinegar around the crusty faucet in the downstairs bath. Thanks, Melissa, for all the info you share.
I make a difference! 😉 Thanks for the videos have learnt tons! The video that had baking soda and water paste to clean a really dirty bathtub was a lifesaver! Thanks!
I make a difference! My mom always used vinegar for cleaning. I’ve started using it too thanks to you recipes. The scent takes me back to my childhood.
I make a difference! Excellent video Melissa..I've stopped using traditional cleaning products for the most part because of your channel. Your videos are great, especially when I need a bit of a kick to start my cleaning. Keep up the great work!
I always tune in to your channel and love to hear your next cleaning ideas. It actually gets me motivated to clean my house. Thank you so much for all you do to help us have a more organized and clean home.
I make a difference! Watching your videos got me started using essential oils. Most of the vinegar and baking soda cleaning methods you show I had learned from my mom, it's so nice to see you sharing them with a newer generation.
I make a difference. Thank you for all the great information you give. These videos have helped me out so much. Have a blessed day. Hugs Sheryl from Greenwood Indiana ❤
I make a difference!! Currently battling hard water stains and so grateful for your advice!! Your videos and website posts have been my go to resources for 5 years. I keep a binder of notes that I add to and use so often. Thank you for teaching me how to clean. You make a difference. ♥️
Hey I have the same problem! Major hard water in our town and just learned that citric acid works wonders! I use an organic version bought on Amazon. I use 2 TBS of citric acid on the toilet, swoosh around and let it sit for like 20 minutes, then swoosh more and flush . Leaves toilet sparkly clean! Also made a solution of hot water and citric acid to clean Faucet that has hard water stains, works wonders! But usually I use pure vinegar to clean stainless steel works just as great
I make a difference! I’ve used your cleaning solution recipes for awhile now. It’s always great to watch a refresher. One of the best video series was your 31 days of recipes.
I make a difference. Love your videos and your upbeat energy to cleaning it has made me change the way I clean and saved me so much money thank you for sharing.
Actually, there is a slight reaction when making ding baking soda and vinegar which might help break up grease and stuff. But action is minimal when the fizzing stops so does the cleaning Use separately for best results
I make a difference!!! Thanks so much. I’ve already watched it twice and willing to watch it another time to learn everything!!!! YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY WORLD ❤❤ Love your work and dedication. Other cleaning experts have become very commercial over time, even short time, but you’re sticking to your mission since day one. All my respect!
“I make a difference!” Great video, thank you! Excited to be switching to your DYI recipes. I also recently purchased your mop and pads and LOVE them. I saw you have a small faucet to the left of your kitchen faucet. Is that for an under the sink filter? May I ask what brand you are using? Thank you
Hi there Melissa. Guess what I clean my windows with old newspaper. Yes, we still have good old printed news. Wipe my windows down water or spray with soap and water and wipe dry with newspaper. My mum did this. I get streak-free windows. And reuse a throwaway material. Newspaper. The newspaper either ends its usefulness starting my fire or go in into the garden. I will have to research why this works but it does. You should try it less harmful to environment although a tree has lost its life
I packed fresh pine needles in a mason jar and added vinegar. I let this sit for a month......homemade pine cleaner! Pine has antibacterial properties!
Do you have to wipe off the dish soap cleaner ( (the first one in the video) with a wet rag? I never know when I need to use water to get the residue off the surface.
Good review plus new to me tips. Thank you!. I think the wackiest hack on line that I've seen is filling the toilet bowl with shaving cream and endless other things.
Halll!
Great video! This is just a personal choice , but I’m Trying to reduce plastic consumption and learned that Microfiber cloths contain plastic “fibers”😫😫😫 so I switched to 100% Cotton cloths and they work great 👍🏼 I have them color coordinated for bathroom & kitchen. Read an article today that microfiber cloths release thousands of microplastics into our washers 😮 and cause waterborne microfiber pollution everywhere 😭😭😭 so I’m no longer using any microfiber materials. Not sure if anyone was aware 😢
I make a difference. But I do miss new content. I have been watching since about 2012. I think we are out of "new" things to clean. :) Still love the videos and fun to go back and watch old content in these compiled videos.
Ever try aerosol style shaving cream as a glass/stainless steel cleaner? Don't. Just don't. My favorite APC is half alcohol, half water, with about 1/4 teaspoon Dawn plus 5 drops of essential oil if I'm feeling fancy. And the flat-weave microfiber cloth is a must.
I have some of your flat-weave cloths and that's what I use to clean the mirrors. No solution at all. Wet one cloth, wring it out and wipe down the mirror. Then dry the mirror with the other cloth. This works very well for me, I haven't bought or made any glass cleaner in 4 years.
I make a difference. Also a question there was a video I saw with a tip on a spray that you made that was used after showering to avoid mold and such.. I recently cleaned using vinegar and the difference after it probably haven’t been done to that effect for 15 years 😂 was shocking. But I think the spray idea was it would make it harder for water stains and such to build up
"I make a difference"! I love your cleaning product recipes - been using them for a few years now and have saved so much money. I had a question about the glass cleaner, I think it was an old video of yours that said for extra oomph you can add corn starch to the water/vinegar (and essential oils if using)...is that still okay to do or even necessary? (or did I remember incorrectly?). Thank you for another great video!
I was a tiny bit jealous of the microwave cleaning part...only because mine is set so high above my stove that I need a step ladder to see far enough in to clean it well.
Hi Melissa I enjoy your channel BUT if you got cats you have to be very very careful of what you put on your floors and anywhere else they might walk coz it stays on their foot pads and how to they clean them BY licking them and what they ingest can make them very sick and so can your essential oils. Research what cats can tolerate
oil of cinnamon, citrus, pennyroyal, peppermint, pine, sweet birch, tea tree (melaleuca), wintergreen, and ylang ylang, are poisonous to cats. Both ingestion and skin exposure can be toxic.
Hi Melissa. Even though I hate cleaning your channel may be my favorite. My question, I foster kittens. One peed on my camel colored aniline leather sofa. The stain is about 2x4 inches. How do I get rid of the stain? It's not wet and I've tried all sorts of cleaners and leather conditioners. Thank you.

I make a difference! You produce great videos
I make a difference. The baking soda vinegar tip has been spread far and wide. Good to know that they neutralize each other and not clean so much.
I'm one that really doesn't mind the smell of vinegar, but I like your idea of putting the citrus peels in with it
I make a difference!!! Thanks so much. I’ve already watched it twice and willing to watch it another time to learn everything!!!! YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY WORLD ❤❤
