    What's the most drool-worthy pedal on Jared James Nichols's pedalboard?

    Humble request to not crop out a player's right hand and the guitar controls. Players like JJN, the right hand technique is a huge part of the magic!

    A shout out to this incredible employee of Sweetwater. All his interviews are top grade consumate pro. Beginners and pros all get educated while the current star is perfectly cajoled into personable flow of shareing. All this and he himself is a master musician. This is what musician fellowship should always strive to be.

    I’ve never listened to Jared’s music but he has a great sense of humor & taste in gear. After listening to his playing in this video I’m going to give him a listen, he rips. Digging his signature Epi too, the mashup of Les Paul Junior/Custom/Goldtop is really intriguing.

    • @hanovergreen4091

      I didn't get him for a long time. Now I dig his tunes and sound. He has probably done more for the P90 movement, alone, than a bunch of players over years. I've loved the P90 sound but never got one until 2017. Now it's all I use and am replacing all the Humbuckers with P90's. 1AnitrasDance has his entire album release performance from January on their channel. Good guests too. Best Regards!

    I have Jared's new Gold Glory. How my mom & pop shop got one before Sweetwater I have no clue, but it's awesome sounding and plays great!

    Man, he’s incredible! And he seems so humble! Did all these tones come out of a single pickup? That’s it, I’m selling my guitars, gonna take up chess.

    JJN is one of the most exciting guitarists of last times. His feeling and intensity when he touches are amazing. I'd like to see him play along with Phil X. Both pure passion. Long live R’N’R!

    I never really subscribed to the whole Klon hype, but damn. And that matted out gold top looks sick.

  • @robinjgill
    @robinjgill 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    IMO JJN is the best around. He's not only a phenomenal guitarist but also has "the" vibe, two things that very seldom come togther. He beamed from 68-70. BTW, I reckon the Klon only really does it's thing with the gain turned up, which is kind of the opposite to the TS9 which to me is best with the gain downish and vol up.

    Perfect pedal board Minimal but covers pretty much all and heyo he doesn't need no stinking fuzz I guess some on the Octavio tho Usually the best guy's have less than six pedals

    I owned an original gold Klon when they first came out Wish I would have been more open minded as far as stacking that stuff It wasn't a "thing" yet Stacking pedals wasn't common back then and I had a killer TS that sounded better than the Klon so it sat in a drawer for years until I sold it for a huge profit But if I would have stacked those 2 pedals I probably would have had that AHA moment lol Oh well no regrets Loving my four pedal board but need a good wah

    Damn his board looks like mine. Fairly simple and straight forward. I do most of the work with the amps and the les paul. I use a A/B A and B pedal to go from one amp to the other or both. I use a joe bonnomasa wah a pal 800 overdrive and a vox stomp lab. Call me crazy but the vox stomplab does some great things if used tastefully. I have a noise gate but if rarely use it.

    I'm researching JJN for possible lessons. I like how he really works those blue collar blues rock tones. Would've liked to see a slight segue in to some other styles, but for what he does he's the man. The research continues.
