After being inspired by Tim Hawkins for over 4 years, I finally tried the chicken strips and waffle fries there for the first time last year. I am proud to spend my money there, because Chick Fill'a honors God very well. God Bless you Chick Fill'a. :)

On the way to the conference, for some reason I have since forgot, I mentioned to everybody on the trip that every time I hear the song “God Bless the USA” I cry like a baby because it triggers a memory of welcoming back the troops that were returning from the invasion of Panama. When Tim started singing this song and I recognized the tune the water works started. I was glad I told the ladies my story before hand so they knew why I was crying. Dang Tim, you used the original version from 1984. The reason I know that is because it's the ONLY one where Lee Greenwood's voice purposely cracks the very first time he sings the verse "the flag still stands for freedom, and they can't take that awaaaaa........heyyyyyy".
