- Welcome to a new series of our 3 favourite Thai dishes. In this Thai food vlog we will show you 3 of our favourite dishes. We will visit 3 Bangkok restaurants and we will try: stewed pork leg, if you know Danny then you know that his favourite food in Thailand is Pad krapao and if you know Diggy you know that her favourite food in Thailand is noodle soup ;)

When the university start for the new semestre, I recommend to explore the canteen in the university e.g. Chulalongkorn university, Kaketsart University etc. (along the BTS). I think you will see some amazing menu.

In the morning, most Thai-Chinese people eat porridge (ข้าวต้มกุ๊ย) which they make themselves in the family. But it is very difficult to find any restaurant selling that in the morning. Those restaurants will open in the evening. The food may look plain but they are incredible delicious.

Rice pork congee is our breakfast, first meal of the day for Thai people
My favourite are amost 100 dishes lol. All of these dishes are like a Thai version of fast food that Thai people eat for lunch. We called it in Thai อาหารจานเดียว (Ar Harn Jan Diew) or one dish meal. But dinner is another thing. Since Thai foods are served with rice, commonly Jasmin rice, and for Dinner of Thai family we always have many foods to eat with rice at least 3-4 different foods and also dessert/fruit after meal is a must. So dinner for me is always a joyful time in my family as my mom love to cook many delish foods and dessert for us everyday that made me enjoy eating so much. That's why I love to see you guys enjoy our Thai foods so much too.😊

I don't have any preference but have you try kuwei jab? My favourite one is the Chinese donut it can be eaten plan, with Kanji or even dip it in condensed milk. Cheer and thank you for liking Thai foods and the culture.

I had the stewed pork leg up in Chiang Mai from the famous Cowboy Hat Lady. It was good, but maybe a little sweet for my taste. My egg had a runny yolk which mixed wonderfully with the rice.
Sounds great! That is the best when egg is still soft 👍 when we have visited Chiang mai we never went to eat there. Think next time we should.

When we visited Phuket last year, we enjoyed travelling around on the bus. 😊 , mouth watering breakfast, yum yum. 😋

If you like to eat pork leg/knuckle rice and like to eat rice with stir-fried basil. I want you to try and find a restaurant that has it. Pork legs and basil are sold together in that restaurant and ordered pork leg fried rice with basil. It's my favorite dish.

@@danny_and_diggy Restaurants that can make this menu are everywhere in Thailand. Look for a restuarant that has a pork leg pot in front of the shop. There must be a cooking part as well. You will need to order a Kao KaPrao Ka Moo in Thai. Please enjoy.

I enjoy how you love Thai foods.
"Blood jelly" in the Duck Soup is called "Leud".
Wording "Leud" in Thai means "Blood" in English word.
So, "Leud" can be in many kinds of soup such as "Leud Ped" in your Duck Soup in this vlog. (Ped means Duck).
If you take any Pork Soup, it might be served with "Leud" as well but that blood is from pig (or pork).
Also if you see "Leud" in Chicken Rice with Soup or Chicken Noodle Soup, that "Leud" is from chicken.
