Late by just only 10 years minimum now Mumbai traffic has moved to Central and North Mumbai specially Andheri and Bandra Kurla complex onwards to Borivali and Goregaon for a nightmare
I like how basic infrastructure is celebrated in Mumbai as an achievement, whereas in reality these infrastructure projects should've been in place years ago. The financial capital of India, sadly doesn't receive any financial assistance for itself.
Its more chaotic in western suburbs then the south. Mira-bhayandar to Bandra is absolute nightmare to drive.
Coastal road will be extended to dahisar
Hormzad's expression of just sheer awe and joy to go past Sobo this way was just something. it's that expression that cant be said, the way he was naming all landmarks as he whizzed past all the landmarks; where we all have probably taken hours to reach or longer to pass shows what a big deal it is for a Mumbai brought up person. great video :)

The road, on its own looks beautiful. The problem is that, our drivers dont know how to use lanes. However wide the roads are, there would still be chaos.

While we are all grateful for this infrastructure, what about decongesting the suburbs? The people using this road would be really really affluent which make up a very small section of the city's population. The masses live near the suburbs, can the government for once try to smoothen their travel?
Decongesting the suburbs is a big challenge, which surely is on the agenda of the people who matter. But the bigger challenge is to convince the public
Boriwali till Andheri is suburbs. Considering the coastal road starts in kandivali, mostly people living in suburbs are the beneficiary

There are projects planned and in progress for that too! Just see the tunnels being made under the national park! And better quality roads and flyover will be used to decongest suburbs properly!

People in Bharat 🇮🇳 don't have basic civic sense & road etiquette.....This is kind infrastructure is sustainable only when citizens take their due responsibility......Honking, Road spitting,over speeding, seat belts, driving without license need to be curtailed!!!
Untill the road from Viral to Colaba Backbay is not completed then this traffic will be away there.
