Hitler gave Heydrich and Himmler a lot of free reign in delegation. Arguably, both of them were far worse monsters than Hitler. So strange as well the Hitler is such a touchy subject, but Stalin rarely gets a mention, despite being infinitely worse than Hitler in every way possible.

Because they don’t want Nazis flocking to them. They did their best to condemn Hitler but there’s still talk of the ‘Jewish Question’ in these comments.
That was a weird discussion. Famous people trying really hard to have an honest discussion but afraid to have something taken out of context and used against them. We live in an odd time when one aspect of society will pick one sentence and try to destroy someones career.
There are literally people who sit all day on their computers and get a high out of ruining someone’s career. They will do anything to accomplish such deeds. Nowadays you can take any few second clip, add a caption to it presenting it in a certain light, and the entire world will actually buy it thinking it’s true. There seems to very few skeptics these days that are actually willing to look into things more thoroughly before making a judgment.
I think what hes saying is its crazy that we can't take words the way they're meant to be interrupted, instead people know what they're twisting isn't necessarily how it was stated but instead they twist words just to destroy their career. It's very sad honestly.
it's almost like the value systems of the masses are becoming the thought police. wouldn't it be crazy if someone wrote a book on how to manipulate the masses based on their unconscious desires. oh wait, edward burnays did write that book. in 1928. and it's called propaganda. shit

WWII in general needs to be talked about because it shaped the world into what we have now. Also, that war was far worse than most people even realize. When you really dig deep, it’s hard to imagine that many people committing atrocious, evil acts. Read about Japan, one could argue they were even more sadistic than the Nazis. And the Allies weren’t 100% innocent either. It’s hard to imagine how recent it was too. Both of my Grandfathers fought in it, I never knew them because of what the war did to them. They were broken people. My parents didn’t even really know them either. Lots of stories like that.
The winners write history. Which means world war 2 more than any other event in human history should be re-examined, and reinvestigated especially towards a consideration of Revisionists who’s voices have been terminated for decades.
I think it was during the invasion of China, two Japanese officers decided to have a contest as to who could behead the most people. . If I remember correctly, the winner was around 150 or so. Both officers were celebrated in the Japanese press. The level of depravity during WWII was unimaginable.

It’s funny how when you put two highly intelligent men in a room who disagree, however slightly, they can joke, respect each other, find common ground, just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean you can’t respect them ❤️
"highly intelligent men" is key to your point. Wise people don't get angry when they are disagreed with. It's usually an opportunity to learn something even if you still walk away in disagreement. The fact that Weinstein has to state "I want to be really careful about this, so that it cannot be misinterpreted" before almost every sentence displays how far off track we are already. Who in their right mind would actually believe a jew defending Hitler's actions from an ideological perspective? Great conversation nonetheless.
Yeah, the problem might be that you hold humanity as a whole in a somewhat higher esteem than it deserves. Most individuals react on emotions because building complex ideas guided by a reasoned moral basis is simply beyond their limits. This example, to me, seems like a logical side effect. Its only on new media with smaller niche audiances where these ideas can be discussed in a normal framework it seems..
Respectfully, I think that you may have misinterpreted the overarching premise. I think he was suggesting that Hitler isn’t necessarily a statistically insignificant outlier; though he might be a representative of the chance pairing of immense opportunity and an ugly element that is latent in all people.
Marieke, Weinstein was very clear that he wasn’t defending Hitler. He specifically stated that Hitler’s ideas were in error. It seemed to me that all he was saying is, “be aware of rational programs that are making headway towards genocide, because it’s likely that your hard-wired self defense mechanism for your race(read “tribe”) might allow you to rationalize the brutal acts similar to what Hitler instituted in Europe. He didn’t expound on what caused the perceived need for additional “resources,” maybe it was obvious and l’m just oblivious, none-the-less a careful review of his words suggests that he was not defending Hitler. Telling a cautionary story, would be a better way of looking at it.

Partially disagree. I do think that there is danger in dismissing some ideas as irrational because you’re allowing said idea to continue developing ie. Holocaust denial or Flat Earth society. I get your point but I think it’s good that people have become more sensitive towards certain topics. I get that it seems stupid having to clarify that you think Hitler is evil. But if you look at the past and how topics like racism, fascism and inequality in any kind of form were played down in the way we talked about them I think we made a huge progress in becoming more sensitive. My point is that although the sensitivity might appear rather silly it actually helps in recognising the problems.

The fact that you aren't allowed to have these sort of discussions on mainstream media outlets is exactly why alternative media is winning (and, I might add, superior). Alternative media outlets are literally preserving truth by upholding free speech. If you assume that free speech is necessary to a well functioning open society, then preserving the integrity of platforms such as as TH-cam is of utmost societal importance.
I feel that alternative media has always been won/been around. Theres NEVER and never will be a time where main stream media is open, transparent, honest and willing to discuss so called "black market conversation" Mainstream media is just here to try to keep the masses at ease, not respond to all the real bullshit that's going on in the world and just do population control. U want people to work 40 hours, make enough to take a girl u wanna fuck out for dinner maybe 1 vacation a year, and a apartment/house with little debt as possible. In the past 10.years alternative news sources are at its peak, and thriving because of the internet. Even for the right wing u have crowder, Shapiro, Rubin, etc.....so alternative is for any ideology, any philosophy. ... Even now mainstream putting their news clips on our main page.....look at pakman recent video about this, losing tens of millions of views a month while CNN getting more views now all because TH-cam is distorting people. .I always had a conspiracy theory, one came true "the advertising and putting all mainstream news clips on the very front or top recommendations on all 300 million Americans watching TH-cam. Now my final one is TH-cam Gunn be like cable TV. At first everything is free, u get channels, alternative and mainstream alike all participating which drives up viewership. Than comes along the hotspresd of millions of new channels. Like comedy central doing real real dirty and alternative jokes to having history channel etc. TH-cam has all of it now. Which is the start of the addiction. Now since people are addicted to TH-cam (mean that in a analogy not actual chemical addiction) just like sports on cable back in the 70's pretty much all free to view. TH-cam years back did the "pay 5$ a month and watch TH-cam created shit" I GUARENTEE once us millenials become parents Nd have mortgages there going to make everyone pay for it thus creating cable TV but in the internet point of view. Only gunna be mainstream news, as we see alternatives losing all revenue. TH-cam will become strictly mainstream and for the mainstream. (Besides few anomalies like anything else like JRE, comedy guys, even people like crowder and TYT may stay since they have some.power) But once TH-cam becomes 100% mainstream. And a paid service. You will get another unexpected, newly invented service just how TH-cam came about and the birth of Facebook. There will be some entrepreneur who creates some awsome service that alternative media, perspective and honest journalism will flock too and compete against the mainstream media . We had this for newspapers via magazines and other papers who produced awsome alternative, than cableTV, now its internet age so yea. Alternative will never replace mainstream but alternative will always compete and fight against power
mr. JDP P Wouldn’t TH-cam already be considered mainstream? I’m pretty sure it’s the 2nd most used search engine after google, and most news outlets/channels have TH-cam channels.
You're absolutely right, internet platforms must be preserved and protected from the censorship and biasedness of mainstream journalism, the problem is that the companies that manage these platforms are often biased themselves, and can manipulate invisible algorithms in order to avoid too much opposition to their agenda
It is "winning" in views because it is more accessible now and offers detailed stuff about very specific areas of x and y. Just like Wikipedia isn't popular because it is exclusively free or not allowed elsewhere, but because it simply has something for everybody to feed on. Ditto for TH-cam.
24 "news" channels are about entertainment. You get a jerk host, two jerk guests and have them yell at each other for ten minutes. A couple commercial breaks and move on to the next segment. The problem isn't the networks, it's the people. People are mostly morons that don't want to spend 3 hours watching an intellectual conversion. They want to be entertained and that's what modern news gives them.
Remember Peterson's own teachings: you can't learn anything new from people who already completely agree with you. So many youtube comments going on being confrontational about Weinstein while Peterson himself is sitting here absorbing what Weinstein says and finding how the different perspective offers new insights into his own. If you want to support Peterson you should focus on acting out his advice rather than hating on people that Peterson himself sits there, politely listens to, and learns from.
You can't learn anything from an uneducated moron who is constantly making things up and pulling trivial wrong claims out of his arse like Jordan Peterson does. You need ten hours of research for every half hour of his 'lectures' only to find out, none of his claims is true.
Hans-Joachim Bierwirth If it is a fact he makes things up, instead of you saying he is a moron you should dispute with FACTS. Because what you are doing is exactly the same. And that is the problem Jacob Davis puts forth also: People who refuse to open a dialogue and just point to others as the problem without offering a counter argument based on facts. How can people expect to convince others if all they are saying is "because he is a moron" or the Eddy Bravo favourite conversation ender: 'Look into it" You might disagree with Peterson, but he is not uneducated. Or do you think Harvard and later the University of Toronto did not check his credentials when they hired him?
@@hans-joachimbierwirth4727 in fact you can learn from an uneducated moron - not that I'm saying Jordan Peterson is uneducated because i think the mere fact that he lectures at all points to him being quite educated actually - but you can even learn from listening to a childs perspective . If you think he is uneducated, in which way did this conversation prompt such a response from you? He listened very attentively, made sure to point out and clarify many aspects of each point of view. These are all very essential to having meaningful discussions about ideas.
This is what I love about Jordan Peterson. He fully understood what was being said but was still humble and insightful enough to ask questions to better his understanding and wasn’t fearful of being incorrect but just wanted to learn more so he can engage better. Amazing how two people can talk out such a sensitive subject whereas the rest of the world can’t even have a respectful conversation on trans rights, gun control or immigration with demanding the other be cancelled.
Boils down to education. Being educated as a youth to think critically before you speak, and to have respect for others allowing them to speak. This education does not require a degree. It can be taught to our children and so on. The world is becoming less and less educated by their parents to have these skill sets, therefore the problems of today cannot be solved with screaming, fighting, crying, or any other uneducated response.

@@greylatern That's a very simplistic view of history, one that seems to be the standard for teaching school children (it's also the version I was taught). Reparations, the stab in the back, etc certainly helped Hitler consolidate his position within the Nazi party, but the Nazi's themselves were political nobodies until the Great Depression in 1929. The Nazi's had only obtained 2-3% of the vote in the federal election the year before, and there was no indication that was going to increase any time soon. Not to put any blame on the US, because there's not much else they could have done, but it was the US calling their loans in that ruined the German economy and amongst other things, paved the way for Hitler. It was a perfect storm of a bunch of events and incidents that set Hitler up, and for some reason we are taught that it was mostly down to an over-punitive treaty. Besides, Germany had her own treaty all worked out if they had won, and it was far more punitive than Versailles. As for the original comment that 'Hitler was trying to stimulate the economy through war', that is also a very simplistic view. Hitler was all about the war, stimulating the economy was a means to that end. He basically spelled out all of his intentions in Mein Kampf, which is a hell of a struggle to read, but one could not come away from it under the illusion that Hitler just accidentally stumbled into a war, it was his intention from the very start and he wrote hundreds of pages attempting to justify it if he was ever given the chance (which he thought he would never get, being locked up for high treason at the time of its writing). All that said, yes, he is 'extremely interesting'

Always Hitler, but never Stalin or Mao. Each had significantly higher death tolls. It's as if people have been conditioned to not question Communism anymore.
I agree whole-heartedly with your statement. It seems like academics and educators in the west want to teach that Hitler was an evil man who just hated Jews because of some irrational fear that they would harm the German people, and that the Germans viewed themselves as a master race. What Peterson fails to address are the rather salient points Hitler made in _Mein Kampf_ regarding the politics of Germany, and more so Vienna before he created the National Socialist Party. 1.) Hitler accuses the Jews of being perpetrators of criminal activity such as *prostitution* in Leopoldstadt, which he says was concealed from the German people under the cover of night, if anything he saw the Jews engaging in immoral behavior he thought would corrupt the German people, morals, values, etc. Peterson doesn't make any mention of this discussed in chapter two of _Mein Kampf._ 2.) Hitler makes another railing accusation against the Jews, one being *profligacy* or extravagant and wasteful misuse of resources, it seems that many Jews in Germany had part in various economic organizations, and perhaps had been involved in corruption of some sort intentionally mishandling government funds. 3.) Hitler next says that the Jews lead organizations that I think perhaps sought to undermine the German people and their national autonomy in some way; Zionism and the Social Democratic Party Hitler says were two of these political organizations, although I would characterize Zionism as a movement, but it could be both. Social Democratic theory he likens to Marxism, or perhaps it was Marxism under the guise of being Democratic. This comes as no surprise considering Karl Marx is the brain-child of Marxism and Communism along with Fredrich Engels. 4.) Hitler loathed Jewish control over the press especially in Vienna, furthermore adding that a lot of art and literature had been produced by Jews in Germany and that one of the main occupations of the Jews was theater. All of which Hitler disparages as garbage. I've noticed some interesting parallels between Hitler's time and ours, and just how much of a far-reaching influence the Jews have in the west today, there are many Jewish moguls in the film industry, many of the world's wealthiest rich elite are Jews, don't believe me just check _Forbes_ 400 most wealthiest people list, many are Jews. You have people like Seth Rogan who have produced films like Bad Boys in 2019, and another Jewish film director who produced the popular _American Pie_ films, which encourage sexually promiscuous behavior and revolve around children and sexual themes. That guys without saying that many actors in Hollywood and other parts of the west are Jewish, Eugine Levy, Timothee Chalamet, Louis Garrell, Andy Samberg, the list could go on and on... let's not forget about people like George Soros who is a multibillionaire that has funded Marxist organizations like _Black Lives Matters_ and _Antifa._ (allegedly anyway...) I've also recently found out that many well-known pornography websites based in Europe seem to be Jewish owned. I don't know... all of this seems like a strange coincidence.... I condemn Hitler's actions, I don't think him killing 6million Jews was the right answer, however he makes some interesting points from what I've read in _Mein Kampf_ so far...
Rienk Kroese they’ve already instilled so much fear in these people, that they had to preface every single statement with “I’m not defending Hitler”. It’s bullshit how careful we have to be with our words nowadays.

And Germany was on two fronts so they had to keep men in France Norway etc AND Hitler didn't gear the economy for all out war until 1943 AND Japan didn't help AND Germany had intelligence disadvantages such as the red Lucy ring and ultra
The entire point of the conversation is summed up in the end. Basically, history can repeat itself. Therefore, we must study and understand how atrocities like those perpetuated by the Nazis occur and avoid them at all costs.
History doesn't repeat itself. Never in the history of the universe has an event happened twice. Events are 4-dimensional objects and are unique. Similar things might happen, but those can be attributed to game theory.
History does repeats itself. Events happen like in a harmonic motion. There is nothing we can do to stop that. I can clearly see that something would happen in future because of ever increasing gap between right and left. Plus, on geopolitical view, US nearly enjoyed supreme power for about 3 decades. Now China is challenging that and a conflict is inevitable. There are many new powers are rising too who are very frustrated by veto system of UNSC, which works like a mafia guild. So, a war is coming. I can't say who would be against who, but it is coming. Maybe in this century or Maybe in next. All we can do is try to preserve something that would help us rebuilding.

That was a weird discussion. Famous people trying really hard to have an honest discussion but afraid to have something taken out of context and used against them. We live in an odd time when one aspect of society will pick one sentence and try to destroy someones career.

Marieke yeah but like people think Ben Shapiro is a nazi
Marieke, you made a good comment. I'm sorry everyone went full retard in response to it. The masses are scary.

Theres NEVER and never will be a time where main stream media is open, transparent, honest and willing to discuss so called "black market conversation"
Mainstream media is just here to try to keep the masses at ease, not respond to all the real bullshit that's going on in the world and just do population control.
TH-cam years back did the "pay 5$ a month and watch TH-cam created shit"
I GUARENTEE once us millenials become parents Nd have mortgages there going to make everyone pay for it thus creating cable TV but in the internet point of view. Only gunna be mainstream news, as we see alternatives losing all revenue. TH-cam will become strictly mainstream and for the mainstream.
(Besides few anomalies like anything else like JRE, comedy guys, even people like crowder and TYT may stay since they have some.power)
But once TH-cam becomes 100% mainstream.
Analyzing history and tragedy- how admirably done and respectfully debated.

This is what I love about Jordan Peterson. He fully understood what was being said but was still humble and insightful enough to ask questions to better his understanding and wasn’t fearful of being incorrect but just wanted to learn more so he can engage better.

The more you can simplify, the better you understand and the more accessible it is.
How every Hitler conversation goes: “Listen… I don’t condone what the man did and he was extremely evil, but he is extremely interesting.” 😂
When I was 14 I got in a heated discussion with my history teach who was studying WW2 for his masters. I pointed out from hos own words Hitler was trying to stimulate the economy through war. And it was the fault of WW1 reperations putting Germany in that situation in the first place. He stopped me and told me to be careful.
@@greylatern because you were getting closer to the truth…
@@greylatern he was like look buddy, I know but just don’t say it out loud lol.
@@hastyhd5040 lol basically yes. WW1's over the top punishment of Germany ruined the country's economy and made it susceptible to people like Hitler. Never underestimate the power of the human survival mechanisms. It has the ability to override our higher brain function(intelligence) and we can do really dumb and evil things.

Peterson doesn't make any mention of this discussed in chapter two of _Mein Kampf._
2.) Hitler makes another railing accusation against the Jews, one being *profligacy* or extravagant and wasteful misuse of resources, it seems that many Jews in Germany had part in various economic organizations, and perhaps had been involved in corruption of some sort intentionally mishandling government funds.
That guys without saying that many actors in Hollywood and other parts of the west are Jewish, Eugine Levy, Timothee Chalamet, Louis Garrell, Andy Samberg, the list could go on and on... let's not forget about people like George Soros who is a multibillionaire that has funded Marxist organizations like _Black Lives Matters_ and _Antifa._ (allegedly anyway...)
I've also recently found out that many well-known pornography websites based in Europe seem to be Jewish owned. I don't know... all of this seems like a strange coincidence....
I condemn Hitler's actions, I don't think him killing 6million Jews was the right answer, however he makes some interesting points from what I've read in _Mein Kampf_ so far...
Social justice warriors changed the way people speak
Tried and trying...
Will not succeed.
Rienk Kroese they’ve already instilled so much fear in these people, that they had to preface every single statement with “I’m not defending Hitler”. It’s bullshit how careful we have to be with our words nowadays.
The right didn't help things. They co-op every single thing they can, just as much as the Left, and play the identity politics card even more often. It's hypocritical at best and fucking cognitive dissonance on crack at worst.
Tywin Lannister If the right is worse, why is it the groups these celebrities are all afraid is the left? I can think of no right wing group is worried about right now. The KKK? They’re a dusty box in the back of an attic. Whereas LBGTQ, ANTIFA, BLM, MeToo can all demolish lives and careers merely based on accusation alone. These people are metaphorically sentenced without even benefit of trial or doubt so it’s confusing how you can believe the left isn’t responsible for this current political climate.

We do!
The entire point of the conversation is summed up in the end. Basically, history can repeat itself. Therefore, we must study and understand how atrocities like those perpetuated by the Nazis occur and avoid them at all costs.
Isn't that a given
History does repeat itself, and it isn’t a coincidence. Governments are owned and have been for a very long time. They’re following orders.
History doesn't repeat itself. Never in the history of the universe has an event happened twice. Events are 4-dimensional objects and are unique. Similar things might happen, but those can be attributed to game theory.
@NcryptoMistro What are you referring to?
