Fantastic video SMK, I always learn a lot from you. 2 quick questions; what size do you have your mini-map set to? And would you please do some more of these live commentary scenarios? It's really enlightening for a below average player like me to hear what goes through the mind of someone who is great at this. Keep up the good work sir.
@@some_edgy_name494 I want my tutorials to be different to everyone elses. So I'm the person you come to when you want to see something other than update notes, or weapon news etc. That's what I would like to be know for
How are you always able to exceed my expectations on every video? Great content from the raw material for sure. You have to see the vid at least 3 or 4 times to realize the thought, dedication, creativity and order that is put into this. So many ways of being more aware on the Battlefield. I am using things from vid 1 now, actually saying out loud "Thanks Mark" when they give results... looking forward to do the same with bits from here as well... 😁 GG and well done.
I recorded this footage back in the middle of august, it doesn't feel that long ago does it? Glad you enjoyed, more to come. I might need your assistance once again :P
Always glad to help if I have time. It's a lot of fun with great guys. Lots of laughs and giggles. Gimme a shoutout and I'll do my best to be there. Got to say the live commentary in the end as a summary was really great too. And in narrator voice, for your last comment in vid: "...and he did end up putting it in the reel as well".
@@oleoie yeah a few are saying they would like to see more of the live commentary in my videos. I just sat for 2 hours talking through what I was doing. Yeah I'm going to start doing shootouts in my videos ;-)
Me and my English.... I do not want shoutout. LOL. I meant send me a DM on Discord when you need a hand. 😋 In Norwegian we say "shout / yell out if you need anything". I play for the fun, not the fame 🤣
Thankyou Bradley, my aim is to do things no one else does. On youtube it's about getting out videos on a nearly daily basis for a lot because they do this full time. Of course that can mean they dont have the time to go in depth and usually stay away from guides and tutorials, and it they do they can be lacking. I generally find its smaller guys like myself that do this well. If you like tanking stuff check out azura productions, he does this very well
Excellent tips! I hope I'd remember them in the heat of the moment. For your scenario at 5:15, I would smoke then flank. The smoke acts as a distraction and puts the thought into the bipodded gun man that I'm going for the revive. He'll fire blind into the smoke fishing for a hit; that will cover the sound of my approach. In an ideal world that is 😁
Using smoke as a distraction is always a good idea. I too like to smoke areas to divert attention away from where I intend to go. Thanks for watching Andy :-)
That is what I am aiming for, a video that is easy to understand but packed with information. I like to show what I am talking about also. Thanks for watching :-)
More good tips, was never aware of the revive sound, will look out for that (but probably need to get a hearing aid!) - thanks :) Also, would like your opinion on the December update which relates to enemy spotting icons, good or bad??? There was other stuff on jackfrags, but I dont wanna advertise for him (but I just did!).
No that's ok man I seen his video, the auto spot inside 8m when you hoover over a player I have no problem with as long as it stays 8m and not a ridiculous distance. The knowing when you are spotted could be good or bad, personally I am normally always aware when I am spotted as I am constantly shooting those flairs down. The ttk changes are awful, just don't do it dice, please. They did the same thing last year around Christmas time and then changed them back after
Definitely great advice... I also realised from watching one thing i have missed... when kill an opponent it marks his death to the enemy... so if in close quarters expect enemy to try to find you....
Yeah, it's also good to be wary that if the player hasnt bled out and it waiting around. He could be seeing a medic near by and/or could be pinging your location to them
I do alot of these thing already instinctively, and I'm pretty damn good (3.65 KD) ... But to put actual terms to the tactics and seeing it broken down so well may help me be more consistent, and therefore help me get better. Well done mate!

Lol it's very easy to be able hear those kinda things when you it's set up silent environment like that. In a real game of battlefield there actually guns firing planes flying by bombs droping in witch makes that listening out for a medic syringe but yeah I get the theory though
Yeah it is certainly harder to hear them in game, but that is why I showed an example in game also, the medic revive on devastation was in game and you can still hear them. However, you really need to have a headset, you will not hear them otherwise
Brother I got a question. I play 99% recon, or support for the shotguns, but Ive a reacheda plateau. Have you changed your dead zones at all? I notice my gameplay is not as stable as yours when aiming, yours seems to "stick" better. I feel like I have too much sway when aiming, or more so than you seem to have, no matter what I change I can't break 15 kills a round with few exceptions here and there. When I watch footage of pro players like you, I feel as if my gameplay is much more chaotic than yours in terms of locking and switching targets. I have alot to learn, but I feel confident just at a level Im not breaking past. I watched all of your vids [the best on YT] but I'm not feeling my setup, any advice? Would you restart a new profile and reset all the settings and start over or what? I just would hate to mess up my muscle memory but I want to progress my skillls... I'd hate to go from champ to chump if I switch and mess it all up. I want more precision . Any advice from anyone is appreciated
@@Twisted_utopia you can't realign them, with use they can get slack and not be perfectly aligned anymore. 13 center deadzone and 15 axial deadzone are the default settings
With manual leaning in the game now it can be such an advantage in a gunfight. I even lean when out in the open and spam the left/right lean to throw off the player shooting at me
