I was at a pickup and when they were done loading I put the truck into gear and it wouldn't go past 2nd gear it would over RPM tried doing everything I could think of and I came across this video and what could it hurt right did it and it worked truck ran like nothing was wrong with it thank you so much 🙏 the tow truck was already on it's way saved us $800 dollars just by doing something so simple you are the man sir!¡!

Bro! You save my ass! The guy working at day changed the fuel filter and fuel water filter...And didn't prime the main one like a stupid....So the truck stopped running the problem was actually air in the fuel system. After fixing the issue and the truck started well again a chek ingine popped! Looking for codes with the internal obd and no code was shown...But still need to remove this chek light!!! And the answer was here!!! Thank you Bro!😄😄😄Je suis du quebec moi aussi!!!

Thank You. I did the same thing and it reset and no Engine light. I drive around the block and turn off the engine and restart again.Engine light is still off. I hope that is all it is. Thanks again.

Updated, I had a water in the fuel light came on and it read as follows. Drain water from water separator . I went ahead and bought a new fuel filter and water separator filter. And install them and very suppressed how dirty the water separator was . I always have my oil change by a truck stop and now I’m thinking they probably just replace the filter and don’t take the time to drain and clean it.and just replace the filter and call it good?
Anyway I hopefully this helps for what it’s worth. Thank You again for your help. Keep safe and safe travels.

Would this help with a stop engine immediately code but not showing any fault codes on code list it went away and came back it’s weird because all my dog system is brand new
No it doesn’t work on stop engines and it doesn’t work on all yellow check engines either
the new kw trucks don't do the clicky 30 second self test when you turn key to on? mine runs funny if I don't wait everytime
If you have a new one with the digital dash it does a complete self check when you turn the key to on and it should pop up on the dash

Most people don’t even know how to start any newer vehicles (made in the last 15 years)these days, they just jump in, turn to start and off they go or at least hope they do.
Very true I say that to people everytime I deliver a new truck it’s important to let everything turn on and connect before starting
How about if the dash froze and stays on after opening and closing the door?
Try the key reset move or get the update done at the dealer
Turn truck off wait for dash to turn off about 3 minutes then turn back on. Mine froze saying 52 mph . Working now
