Thanks very much that was an enjoyable watch tonight. Those Bass look like a different species in Great condition and So Black. Looks like your getting the hang of the Boat and the drifts I do wonder if the Boat Hull put the fish off but obviously not today! That 56cm one looked a bit special too. Some terrific Camera work mixing in that Drone footage with the close ups too. I dont know if it will help your other subscribers here but setting the Quality setting gear icon to 4K allowed me to really follow that Lure.Great editing and the fishing really hotted up! I always find those sort of close to shore marks interesting.A real highlight was that Drone shot where you could see the take, I like how you could see the reef under that clear water. I watched it about 10 times! Thanks again Nathan for Battling through all the seasons
Cheers Matt, It's a different experience fishing my regular shore marks from the boat and, like you said, great to see them from a different perspective. Like i said in the vid, i probably would have been more successful fishing from the shore but the boat handling adds an exciting new element to my fishing and saves my back carrying the drone and camera equipment around with me all day long. Glad you enjoyed and hopefully bring you some even better sessions, footage and editing as I dial in to the boat side. TL's mate👍🎣
Good Evening Nathan , Absolutely awesome video mate what with drone footage & a lot of silver bars as a bonus well done mate , always look forward to your video's , so take care & tight lines
Hi Steve, thanks mate, it was a cracking session and loved filming it, even with the drone mishaps- full SD card and rain, meaning i missed a few good takes. A little rusty but will improve. Thanks and as always tight lines!
its hard to leave an area when fish are feeding to go to an unknown possible fishless one, as it turned out well worth staying, having the drone is a bonus for possible fish location, you just can not see from the boat what's near shore but with a drone, lure fishing just took on a new dimension in fish location.
Absolutely loved that nath, top video all round, loving seeing you getting used to your boat, that fishlocker guy better watch out lol,btw hope you're doing ok mate
Thanks Mick, glad your enjoying the vids. I've really been enjoying learning this new side of fishing, I've got a long way to go to hit JL's standards though. Doing OK mate 👍🎣
Still have my kayak and plan to keep using it, I've just added a new piece of tackle to my box. That pool gully seems to throw up a bass or two, a good sign for NE bass fishing! tight lines👍🎣
Another great video. Love the drone shots. Whereabouts in the Country were you fishing? Within 50 miles will do, not interested in your marks just helps put your films in context 😊 keep up the great work.
Thanks Mike, it's still a relatively unknown area and i want to protect it from netters and commercials, so all I'm going to say is Scotland. Tight lines mate👍🎣
Good haul there Nathan. Food tip of the day: why not take some ginger, spring onion, soy sauce, butter and fry up one of those Bass with a side of mashed potato?
Quality video as always mate, your Chanel has come such a long way from the beginning and as a creator your inspirational mate keep up the good work and tight lines brother! I have a question too mate, where would you recommend fishing around the northumberland area for LRF bud? Don’t want any too dodgy climbs like on some of your adventures though 😜😜😜 Take care Liam
Thanks mate, appreciate that 😃 There's loads of spots for LRF with easy access- harbours around high tide are always a good shout. Dunstanburgh Castle is a lovely spot, the main skeer at Beadnell, colywell Bay, the back of the Kings House in Seaton sluice, cullernose point... and if you want some mini species then rock pools are the most productive. I really like the back of tynemouth pier- once caught a baby codling, coley and pollack out of the same pool plus the usual granny fish and blennys. Hope this helps mate and tight lines👍🎣
Nice session by the looks of it. I took the new kayak out last weekend off Collywell Bay. Fished hard with a variety of soft plastics and got nothing for 3 hours. I switched to a Hansen metal sandeel lure and got 16 pollack in an hour, all in less than 3 metres of water and the best one nudging double figures. I had to stop I was so knackered 😊 Will you run a scent trail when you (finally) go for tope ?
Sounds like a cracking maiden voyage for the new yak! Got to love a small metal in shallow water for pollack. some of my biggest have come from shallow water opposite Whitley prom using small lures. Could be because the carters and commercials don't come that close in. A burley bag is a good shout!
Well in slippy brilliant video mate lovely bass you were catching out there in your new toy lol..just one question do think u will be back out on the rocks for night time winter fishing vids 😂 anyways pleased to see your happy I that boat tight lines 😊
Of course i will mate, I love shore fishing too much. The boat is like my yak, an extra piece of tackle for when I fancy it. Plus, I'd end up getting fat if i stopped yomping to shore marks😂
Good stuffslippy that's what a like to hear. Yeah enjoyed the vid you posted at the weekend down the mog..anyway tightlines slippy always look forward to your next adventures
Eyup Nathan. No lighter eh? Eating everything all at once now is it? Oh aye. There's a comment below from Joel. I don't know the bugger from Adam but I think he's got it right so I thumbed that one up. I remember my brother in law saying to me after many times out on his potting boat 'now you look like a fisherman'. That felt pretty good. You're looking good there mister. I'll sithi after, Dave.
Alreet Dave, I'm not sure what you're getting at, I often skip food to maximise fishing time 😉 Thanks to you and Joel, although i feel I've got a lot to learn yet but enjoying every moment. TL's Dave 👍🎣
Think a trolling a motor on a boat that size will be a waste... There's too much surface area of the sides of the boat that'll act like a sail in the wind that the motor will be fighting against....
It's a fair point mate, used on the bow they can keep the bow into the wind and it out of the cuddy. The wind on the side profile helps the boat swing round onto the motor. It works on those American bass boats, which are 2ft longer than mine, so gotta be worth a shot.🤞
@@SlippyLimpets Boats are the best money pit you can buy. Often the best bit of boat ownership is when you sell it. Just enjoy it and keep doing the videos. Saves me buying one....
One of my most productive bass spots from the shore just in the cove to the left of where you started fishing
Mine too 😉

Nice trip , I cant eat like that anymore but I remember fishing and getting that hunger where I could, great video as always.
Some fabulous fishing from a small boat, my favourite way to target bass
mine too, \i could chuck a TW all day long even if other lures were catching more!
Always enjoy your videos.... loving watching you fish from your boat 👍🎣🎣
Thanks mate 👍🎣

Great piece on lure fishing thank you enjoyed every minute of it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great vid Nathan. It's not every boat owner that can go out and catch some Super bars of Silver from their boat. Nice one mate. 👍
Thanks Matt, glad you liked it. 👍🎣
Great footage 👏
Thanks Jeffrey
Some nice catches there bud. Can't beat a bit of silver, especially on top water lures. All the best Nath and TL's

That unknown is the epitomises fishing for me, and yeah the drone seems like an underrated boat fishing tool! thanks for the comment and tight lines👍🎣
Love it, great sesh. Proper commitment getting the aeropress out in that swell 😅
haha, that aeropress is always with me, I can't function without a coffee boost!
Good effort. Hard as hell trying to get decent footage doing stuff. Keep up the stirling work.
It is, also miss/lose plenty of fish farming around with cameras and Drones. Tight lines👍🎣

I see you upgraded from a kayak!! I've only ever caught 1 bass. And that was from the old tynemouth pool. 38cm. Returned. Great video again.

Cracking boat kit mate, loves ya vids, how much that package set u back?,, been bloody years since I owned my last boat and I’m too old to do it now 😞
Thanks mate, I paid 14k for the lot, the motor was the best part though, it only had 41 hours on it and the trailer was nearly new too.

Gotta love the aeroproess, one of the best coffee makers out there. Tight lines Alex👍🎣
What's the landing limit size on bass where you are? It's between 50 and 60cm in the good ole isle of man.
I think it's 42cm here on the mainland
some guy was topwater plugging off the pool in longsands for bass. said he had a couple of biger ones off there
That gulley off the pool throws up a good few bars and seems to get better each year

what boat and engine matey
The Hull is a Piscator 580 and the motor is a Mercury 100 EFI Four Stroke with the Vessel View Module
please link to boat manufacture
The manufacturer is called Silver Marine, but they've stopped making this Hull now and only make yachts and ribs.

If it doesn't work then I'll whack it on me kayak
What boat is that
It's a Piscator 580👍
Much safer and a million times more comfortable than clambering down that cliff.
It is, but a lot more expensive😂
