- Walking the dog is a great surface water lure technique to encourage heart stopping explosive surface takes when lure fishing. You are essentailly taking your lure for a walk,, mimicking a frightened bait fish darting from side to side, in this vidoe I share what I leaned when I set out to perfect my technique.
Im using a Xorus Patchinko, I lure that I have proved does catch Bass on the surface, currently my favourite lure, although I do intend to try some others. - กีฬา
Everytime I walk the dog I end up in the pub 😂🐕🍺
Lol
Walk there stagger back?
Just got back from using a patchinko in front of my house. I thought "What happens if I do this". I didn't know it, but this is what I was doing (walking the dog). I never knew this was a thing, but it WORKS.
It's very big in the states, very efficient as you can walk a piece of water very slowly and effectively, and the takes are spectacular. I try to do it 5 times and let the 5th glide, then 5 again etc.
I didn't know England have such a beautiful fishing sides. I'm afraid all spots are taken in that place ;-)
You and me both!
Thanks Chris, I will give it a go. 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
Its all about getting the rhythm right.
thanks CJ you have made it very clear and i now know what i have been doing wrong
😊
Nice video CJ 👍🌟
Cheers
What line are you using
Been doing this with the 500g to great effect 👍
👍
I caught a Baracuda with patchenko last night in Adriatic Sea. Used it for a first time and huge result
All hail the mighty Patchinko.
Is it good down there? I live at PLM around the corner never thought good bass would be down there, whens best fishing
Plenty of Bass here. First light and last light is best.
Just watched 10 minutes of your video and got bored all i see was a rod tip bouncing up and down
And i must be doing somethink wrong as i always wtd with tip high until the lure gets close in
Sounds like you are.
@SEAFISHINGwithCJ what ever like I said 10 minutes and know action showing the lure
The first and most important part is getting the rod action it's a loose tight loose action. If you didn't like the video, you didn't have to watch it. Personally I'm not bothered.
@SEAFISHINGwithCJ you have to watch something to see if you like it if you don't like criticism then don't put up videos
