Thor: Love and Thunder is a 2022 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Thor. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. In the film, Thor attempts to find inner peace, but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and Jane Foster (Portman)-who is now the Mighty Thor-to stop Gorr the God Butcher (Bale) from eliminating all gods.
Overview :-
Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” finds the God of Thunder on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced-one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. Thor hears someone whistling behind him.
This outfit was way better than the overdesigned yellow and blue armor. It's more streamlined and comic accurate.
3:09 - notice how his outfit in this shot looks like having different - more suppressed colors than what it ended up with. Looks like an edit mistake, but honestly that looks better than the oversaturated blue and gold.
But face is not comic accurate, I think voldemort will be better
The blue/gold one is just...the worst. Up to Ragnarok Thor has looked cool
I haven't seen this movie, or any clips of it, since I saw it at an early screening, and I'm reminded of the potential this movie had to be one of the best Marvel movies ever made. In concept, it has a great story with a great villain, but the execution is absolutely horrendous. Waititi definitey misunderstood why audiences liked Ragnorok and Marvel execs were too blindsided to supervise. Such a shame.

3:43 Has Thor pinned against the car for 15 seconds with the blade to his throat. Doesn’t actually attempt to kill Thor. It’s one example of these little details that made this move so shit.

No. This was terrible writing. The Gorr in the comics would have decapitated Thor immediately and kept his head as a trophy. Gorr is supposed to be competent, not a confident and cocky imbecile. Worst butchering of a marvel character ever in my opinion. @@1983Dave1983
The thing is that you’re assuming as if Gorr was in total control, but in fact he wasn’t at all, hence Thor overpowers him multiple times in that scene, even when it looked like he was trapped.
He literally held the most powerful sword in the universe up to Thor's throat for about 15 seconds, and decided to have a conversation with him instead of killing him immediately. Don't try to argue that he wasn't in control. He had the best opportunity to murder Thor that one could ask for. @@nielsmiddelburg6672

The dialog, the pauses, the use of music, the lines...it ALL sucks. There's literally nothing in this movie that isn't named Bale that doesn't suck.
Can we please keep Waititi away from the MCU...

Thor in plenty of shots here looks like he was put there in post production. The lighting just doesn't match. Yet Chris had to be there because he interacts with some of the extras, so I wonder what's going on there.
This was the movie that killed my interest in the MCU. Such a shame too, Thor was always my favorite from the comics

0:10-0:25 how the frick did they get to use the Nazgul screams(specifically the Witch King's screech that he lets out at Minas Morgul). Last i checked, lotr was pretty protective over its material.
