This is not just a movie to me, it has some emotional attachment in me. All the characters are still roaming in my mind even after years had passed after watching this movie. This is not just a movie its a masterpiece.💖
I like how Ethan Hawke plays a character who prevents crime before it takes place in Predestination, and then in Moon Knight plays a character who kills people before they commit crimes as well.

I don't think that's the point. He's in fact committing crimes so the people who are committing bigger crimes and killing more people are stopped. In short, he's committing crimes where the people who are going to commit bigger crimes and killing more people are actually killed. It's a mid movie that has been praised until infinity, Idiocracy is a low budget movie made for fun and I find more things to reflect on in it than in this one. What predestination is just hard to follow cause of all the - "this guy is from the future, meeting his past self from the past but hi current self is helping him evade his future self"... it's just novelty. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, but my main point is - It's super overrated. P.S. I know i probably messed up who meets who, I watched it a long time ago and never cared to follow up after watching it once.

I have told so many people about this film, but most of all I enjoy watching folk watching this film and how I see their cogs working as various twists are understood in the development of the highly intricate story, and yet as far as I've been able to tell after several viewings, there are zero loose ends. Every thread in the story us picked up. You'll need to watch it at least twice to get all of the points. Perfection in story telling.
This film won't be for everyone, but this is a great film that won't get the credit it deserves in today's world. It's incredibly profound and is now one of my favorite films in this genre.

just watched PREDESTINATION i am a bit of a time travel buff i love anything to do with time travel and this film just makes me more interested in time travel in general what a brilliant film ,i twigged it at the very end.i fully expected to have to watch it again to understand it , i think i will watch it again because its brilliant.

I love this & have seen it a couple of times. The film depends on two very good actors, Hawke & Snook, who essentially play multiple roles. There's very little spectacle here, and drama and ideas are the name of the game, not CGI.

i think you missed the point. He doesn’t prevent crime but makes sure events occur as they are supposed to or planned to. He is actually a puppet.
