Tbh in my opinion it would be to distracting. In the game survivors need to survive and focus. They can't have a radio static affect bursting in they're ears when they get chased. It's too distracting
@@Rex-rz7xf thats the point for killers, not survivors. they already have loud music blasting in their ears, which, while it adds to the aesthetic, can be distracting and take away from sound queues. Not that it's a bad idea, I just think that static shouldnt be there in a chase along with music. Maybe they could make it during the terror radius, but once the chase starts it disappears or something.

I would like to add that the creator of Silent Hill himself stepped in and made edits to the theme. The live version is how the creator intended the theme to be.

When you are in the chase one of the most important thing is learn killer’s habit in order to know the pattern/how to loop him. Since you have time to learning killer’s habit, looping him is pretty ez and it’s not bad at all once you know the pattern, when you see pyramid trying to use his stone edge just don’t keep running, run stop run stop, just to make yourself unpredictable. Then you run toward pallet and stop/derping there IF he’s very close to you(the distance that if you don’t drop pallet he will hit you), either he cancel stone edge or release stone edge, just stun him and run away. For those of you think that you can’t loop him I’m not saying you’re bad but your reaction time need to be improved. Stone edge is actually easier to dodge compare to the gun and hatchet.
@@SilentRedeem04 His powers seem to be great at saving time since if you have torment he doesn't have to hook you and he can just mori you if you are tormented and are on the second hook stage plus he has a ranged attack that goes through walls.
To be fair, he’s a killer that has plagued most gamers’ childhood nightmares, so it only makes sense. Silent Hill is also a prominent horror franchise.
One of the things I'll never forgive BHVR is that they nerfed the AMAZING SLAP during the chase music, they completely removed the cowbell doing the SH theme and they changed most of the sequence to something a bit more boring and constant
Personally I can't say this is ruined. The cowbell was nice musically, but the whole idea is for his theme to sound industrial and like banging and scraping metal. His new theme sounds extremely oppressive while bringing out pyramid heads sadistic nature.

The intro of this sounds too close to the Silent Hill style of music. Considering Akira Yamaoka actually helped to make the new theme for this Chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if this was also made by him. Hype!

Raspstrike The instruments are quieter in the live version, where the metal sounds are more noticeable in the chase section. This is actually more akin to SH2, whereas this is close to SH1
I feel like they absolutely nailed this terror radius theme. Honestly, I feel like a lot of the others just don't quite hit the mark like Billy and now Clown. They're not really scary. They're silly. They're still kind of fitting for the character, but nothing special or creepy. I even find Clown's a bit annoying. Love this one and Deathslinger, though! They got those down!
Clown I understand, but I honestly really like Billy’s TR and chase music. Especially that riff at the start of it. It is very intense, and that’s perfect for when it goes from nothing to him being right next to you from chainsaw sprinting. Sucks that it’s hard to hear it because most Billy’s use Tinkerer.

Eg: 0:40 = Distant (The in game sounds a bit boring) 1:20 = Near Proximity and Chase music for the survivors are the current Live versions The killer hears 1:58 since it sounds a lot more controlled than the Live version, like what the killer might be thinking

Got back into dbd just a few days ago and bought pyramid head, the chase music is an absolute banger, probably gonna main him for the song alone, if not then one of my top 3 killers without a doubt
I really wish they could have just gotten the song "Betrayal" from the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack for the chase music, and/or had the terror radius music just be "Ring Bearer" at varying parts on loops based on proximity to the killer. They could even use some bits from "The Labyrinth" or some other tracks from SH2 for terror radius kinda remixed. I'm just gonna have to assume Konami said "No", because I believe I and most others would have much preferred songs from SH2 remixed, and that would have likely been less work since the music already exists....
The scary thing about this is that if you realize in real life getting chase by that THING (pyramid head) for countless hours for nothing to happen because. ...............……................... DEATH IS NOT AN ESCAPE

I love how the 1st game's theme is referenced in the stage right before the chase. It's also a little reminiscent of how Theme Of Laura refrenced the 1st game.
Definitely in the top 5 best chases, along with doctor's, oni's, twins', n nemesis's imo. Also, anyone else hear an occasional sound of wen u get "blood punch" from doom eternal in the chase music? There's like a deep choir part tht sounds like it, lol.

The Infamousdingus2 I’m sure they didn’t ask for random noises in the song, bhvr prob put it there and they said ye to it. It’s not like they didn’t have them in before and Kojima just said “ahhh it’s good but I think it needs some more noises” or some shit like that. But idk for all ik that could have been how it went down lol. That would be funny. Its also bhvr that creates the song, not Kojima.
MalevolentAB Well the creator of silent hill made the music, he was aiming more towards SH 2 Which is more based on pyramid head and there are a surprising amount of soundtracks that sound like the chase music in dbd

Every killer is great in dbd. Pyramid head is such an iconic killer. I hope they will add Pyramid Head and Freddy Krueger to mobile version someday, although there powers are something tough to add to version.
