nah trickster is definitely S tier. if you read his lore it says that he records his victims screams of agony when he tortures them to death and he began remixing it into his songs on stage, so the chase music you're hearing with the "sirens" are actually distorted screams of his past victims. pretty cool

Trickster is one of the few who make me uncomfortable, I don't care about monsters because they are not real, but humain madness do exist, so that why I think he is pretty well done, the song for the chase is also related to he's storyline, he actually kidnapping and torture people and recorded the screaming of pain into the music, the music is a bunch of screaming and twisted sound of kpop style
For me it's the opposite. It makes sense to run away and hide from a monster with inhuman strength, but a random skinny edgy kpoper? Doesn't feel like he belongs in a horror game
Nah man! I've stated it in the video, but I honestly think they did such an amazing job with pretty much every chase music, I love all of them and I think Dredge is fantastic as well. I probably should've named the tiers differently. The video may make it seem as C-Tier or D-Tier isn't good. But honestly, I think they're amazing. And there is that sound in Dredge's music that almost sounds like a broken clock which makes it so good.
Fun fact, for some of the killers, killer's powers are actually able to affect some part of the song. Legion is the most well known one, but deathslinger, twins, and spirit (might be some I'm missing) affect the song. When deathslinger ads, if the survivor is looking at the killer, they will hear the rattle of a snake and if ds keeps on aiming, a high pitch ringing will eventually build up (like if you used dead eye in RDR). And if you successfully harpoon someone, the music will go back to layer 3 until the chain snaps. But wait, there's more. If the survivor is still alive after the hit, the song will pick back up to layer 4 seamlessly, but if the chain snaps, the song would fade out for a second and fade back in sync with his grunting. Twins and Spirit isn't as complicated and they both work almost the same. When they use their power, the song would still be in layer 4 but lowered and if the killer is still in the terror radius and chases you again, the song picks back up again. Anyways, hope this interesting and good job on the video mate.

Wesker's terror radius starts out mild but the closer he gets the more it builds. The actual chase music is just out of this world good. I feel like you need a S tier for everyone else and S+ for Wesker.
The percussion in the Dredge's theme sounds like a broken clock, which makes perfect sense. As for Wesker's theme, I got the impression it wasn't that far off from his theme, Winds of Madness.
Personally I think ghostfaces chase theme doesn't fit him, but his 3 phases before chase definitely fit him, I like to think of it as his anticipation for killing the survivors increases each second he's closer to you. But his chase music the ones that's faster than this one I like it the most

The only one here that kinda hurt was the Myers ranking. The music in my opinion is so nostalgic, like the music just reminds me of the fear those movies instilled you with. I'd put it at least high A just for nostalgia factor.
Plague not having an unique chase ost is such a fking shame. Like, they lost an amazing chance of making her theme be her followers chanting as she chases. So sad. I chose to main Legion because he was Canadian, is a human killer and I own the CoD:Ghost mask which made it awesome to cosplay Joey with while I stream, imagine how happy I was to find what Legion chase music was, specially as a heavy metal fan
I’m biased, dislike Oni’s music because of how bad it feels playing against the character And Demo is S tier Blight has a bit of… sadness to it, which I think is a nice touch for the character. Twins I barely feel anything about, like the music is barely there. Like the killer is barely there. Trickster’s known for making disturbing music, it’d be no stretch to think his terror radius and chase music are things he’s made. Cenobite, I’m also with you there in that I haven’t seen the source material, but, the vibe I get from the music is, there’s almost some tainted angelic quality to it, it’s otherworldly… which fits well with my perception of the cenobite, some otherworldly/celestial creature that essentially lives on a higher plane of existence than you, coming to bring you pain as an act of twisted benevolence. Really fitting in my opinion! Artist as a character I want so badly to like, but the screeching is so unpleasant to be around Dredge would be A or high B tier for me for the same reasons you listed

I controversially kinda hate Nemesis's chase music It doesn't do much for me. My favorite is a easily Pinhead's I love the horns and find it fits him perfectly and ramps up the stress. Second favorite is The Artist. Really proves how subjective it is!!

I don't disagree with you! He really has amazing music. This tier list however is ONLY about chase music and I think in comparison there's just more interesting ones. I agree that it is good, I just think it could be a bit less repetitive.
Trickster should be in S because if you paid attention to his bio, you'd remember that his music is made with the screams of his victims, which you can hear in the music. There's very direct storytelling in his chase theme, which I don't think anyone else can say.
Myers should've gotten higher as it's a more dramatic take on his original chase theme from the movies "The Shape Lurks". They added more instruments to up the drama of not just watching someone get chased by Myers, but *you're* getting chased by him.
I’ll be honest, I liked Ghostface old chase music but his new one is actually pretty good. Like everytime I get into a chase with him and see him get into his other stance (he has 2, one is where he stands up straight and the other is where he leans forward as he’s running to you) and I just love how he does that, it matches his chase music. Each step he takes it just syncs with the beat
For me, Legion has the best music. They literally have different mixes, which you can hear and recognize when playing as a survivor, which makes itself a new mechanic. The rock n roll fits so well, considering they are just a bunch of teenagers in the end of 1990s. Although, Wesker has a literal orchestra on his side, Legion have much more to their music.
i dont like the twin music, since when i hear it it doesnt gimme the vibe that the killer is twins. I just dont see the connection between twins and the music. But yes it is a great chase music.

I controversially kinda hate Nemesis's chase music It doesn't do much for me. My favorite is a easily Pinhead's I love the horns and find it fits him perfectly and ramps up the stress. Second favorite is The Artist. Really proves how subjective it is!!
Pinheads music is supposed to sound like you summoned him, which is why it sounds the way it does. Its summoning pinhead music
I miss the old Demo POV chase music, they changed it to be the same one the survivors hear but I preferred when it was the 24m version
As a Resident Evil fan, I'm so glad both Nemesis and Wesker got their special place in this game, BOTH having amazing themes of their own.
There’s like 9 chase themes for the characters that don’t have their own unique music. It’s different from the survivor and killer perspective
the scary thing about nemesis chase music is the heartbeat and the Loud footsteps of him Trailing right behind you

I love How myers have the best sounds in this game. Level 1 to 3 when he UP The evil power. Also when he lose the evil power 3 to 2... Chase músic insane, and in menu of the game when u choose Michael sounds perfectly. How u choose rank B for myers? He is SS
I don't disagree with you! He really has amazing music. This tier list however is ONLY about chase music and I think in comparison there's just more interesting ones. I agree that it is good, I just think it could be a bit less repetitive.

Trickster should be in S because if you paid attention to his bio, you'd remember that his music is made with the screams of his victims, which you can hear in the music. There's very direct storytelling in his chase theme, which I don't think anyone else can say.

Myers should've gotten higher as it's a more dramatic take on his original chase theme from the movies "The Shape Lurks". They added more instruments to up the drama of not just watching someone get chased by Myers, but *you're* getting chased by him.

I’ll be honest, I liked Ghostface old chase music but his new one is actually pretty good. Like everytime I get into a chase with him and see him get into his other stance (he has 2, one is where he stands up straight and the other is where he leans forward as he’s running to you) and I just love how he does that, it matches his chase music. Each step he takes it just syncs with the beat
For me, Legion has the best music. They literally have different mixes, which you can hear and recognize when playing as a survivor, which makes itself a new mechanic. The rock n roll fits so well, considering they are just a bunch of teenagers in the end of 1990s. Although, Wesker has a literal orchestra on his side, Legion have much more to their music.
i dont like the twin music, since when i hear it it doesnt gimme the vibe that the killer is twins. I just dont see the connection between twins and the music. But yes it is a great chase music.
The composers must be RE fans if they put that much love into nemesis and wesker
