I have audi a4 b8 my car engine is shaking and epc light is on . I ran my scanner and it says cylinder 4 misfire . I replaced the plugs and coils but problem remains. You think this sensor could help fix it ?
This video something why because I was trying to show others how to replace a camshaft position sensor on my own car ? Or maybe it’s something because I could do it & you can’t lol ?
@@TRACINGNENO thanks, I had to change it two times because i got a cheap piece from amazon first. My recommendation to anyone reading, don’t get it from amazon, get Bosch or Duralast. The extra 15 bucks is worth the car starting right.
Good question. to be honest during the time of this video the car had an issue where it would almost misfire when at idle. The problem here was whoever on the vehicle previous to me installed a aftermarket sensor from AutoZone or somewhere and It wasn’t reading so it caused misfire. The moment I replaced it with a new Factory sensor from audi it fixed the issue.
Is it okay to use oreillys camshaft position sensor? Or have to get the OEM from the dealership
Is there only one ? Because the engine has 2 camshafts ?

Did your car have a hard start that takes a few seconds to start then turn on
No I did not the issue is more towards when I was at idle the car would misfire.
@@TRACINGNENOdid you fix the misfire?
Hi I have a question, what number part is and if is working with q3
My apologies I don’t understand your question
Crankshaft Position Sensor
I have B9 where would the crank shaft sensor located ?
If you go check out my other video you’ll see there where it’s located & how to remove it.
is this the same as on a q3
A q3 has one around there somewhere just not 100% sure where without seeing the actual car.
what was the code for that bad sensor?

It’s a camshafts position sensor not an oxygen sensor.
