There’s an interview on TH-cam where Jeff Bass explains that this was recorded when they were all still in California promoting the sslp. I think it was genius how they had the sequel on the mmlp and linked the story up with intro and outro. They fit each album perfectly. Jeff Bass delves in to how the recording came about - it’s quite interesting.
@@Juangel2KSYeah. This song leaked before MMLP came out. I always preferred this poorly mixed version to the more polished version on the actual album.
@@clouds-rb9xt Oh, I know about all that! But I still think it's kinda ridiculous that they censored the "4-year-old boy" part. Like, THAT was where they drew the line?! XD
That's because this was supposed to b on SSLP but Dr. Dre said it was "too dark" so that's why there's a higher pichted along with the SSLP style bars because he finished this while competing work for that album.
My guess is that the tape is a bit damaged hence why it plays too fast. I don’t think Em recorded it at this speed or intended it to be played at this speed.
This is no different from the original version except it's up a semi tone.. and eminem said in an interview this was one of the first songs he started for mmlp in late 99 or 2000 so how could it be from 98? This whole thing is super misleading. And I LOVE this channel so it kinda disappointed in this it should be taken down
And if the tempo change is not how it's supposed to sound. It is because whoever leaked it had to alter it. That's what DJ's always do when leaking stuff most of the time.
this version is much more raw and overall better than the album version, if It had the final part it would have been perfect.
I’ve preferred low quality or demo versions of songs idk why it might just be me
This definitely was for sslp, the outro for Kim transitions into just the two of us (‘97 Bonnie and Clyde)

This was the version that we downloaded on Napster before MMLP dropped.
Really Bro?

FACTS 👍
This is the most unhinged song ever
He sings the hook better on this one and I always wondered what was edited out from CD version
The 1st few lyrics form the CD version aren’t here.
@RyanTheBeastAnd The tree
And the 4 year old little boy part
Wow you're right, the hook sounds way better on this one
Definitely talking about the 4 year old boy. It got censored out
The car honking the horn sounds like Eminem humming lmao
Lol
Probably is
Mosquito
because it is
I see why the cut out that part in the 2nd verse… shit is just sinister
Probably forced to by the label. A lot of his early stuff pushed boundaries that weren't really allowed in the mainstream
@@clouds-rb9xt Oh, I know about all that! But I still think it's kinda ridiculous that they censored the "4-year-old boy" part. Like, THAT was where they drew the line?! XD
@@TheMouseAvenger dw Kim was censored in a lot of countries, that's why he made "the kids" to replace it.
Sad I wasn't a teen when this dropped, it's my favorite Em song.
This is unironically the best memphis rap song I've heard
This is Detroit baby
Memphis?
Eminem is NOT from Memphis 💀
@@schztinky2820I think he’s trying to make a point that it’s very similar to the old school Memphis style, but better
Any songs that are similar?
This is fukin art in music perfection ❤ i love it
Nice quality on this!
True Kim version. Best of all. Forever for who was Young in 98. Its all that matters
"THERES A FOUR YEAR OLD LITTLE BOY LAYING DEAD WITH A SLIT THROAT" How the fuck did that happen?
Because eminem 😂😂

That line hits...😬 Eesh
Sucks, can't be undone. Feelings.
1:55 yikes lol
Are u sure is unreleased? is the same lyrics but faster
nvm, it is,
I had not finished listening to the whole song when i wrote that
@@danv.2722 takes a real one to admit they're wrong - no worries fam
His voice is a lot higher pitch on this
Especially in the “so long” during the chorus, except for the final refrain at 4:34 which sounds exactly like the chord on the final version.

No it was supposed to be on the sslp, right before 97 Bonnie and Clyde
All the copies I ever heard sound exactly like this except way worse quality.
This is a early version of Kim entitled Bitch So Wrong.
