It shows hulks true powers from how far and high he can jump to his strength to him growing in size when getting more mad as well as his super regeneration.. most in depth comic book accurate to date

@@ricorobinson8503 couldn’t agree more, his powers were on their best display of any live action version we’ve seen in this film. Especially growing in size and strength, which has been sorely absent in the MCU among other things with their Hulk

I know that this hulk was judged by how smart he was. He creatively smashes things (legit proves that this hulk is smarter than you thought)

As a kid, this was definitely one of my favorite movies growing up and loved everything about it. It’s definitely unique and a super underrated movie. You should do more videos like this cuz this was the best 24min I’ve spent watching and old movie review.

Hulk 2003 was and it still is to this day an underrated Legendary gem of a film.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, It should never have been this difficult for a Hulk story to get off the ground. They could've easily bypassed the whole Universal dilemma year's ago by just making a Hulk show about Bruce Banner after the events of Incredible Hulk as Universal never owned Hulk's solo TV right's just his Solo Live Action Movie rights that's all. We could've been had a whole Series long ago at this point. Nothing was stopping any of that except Kevin Feige and Disney/Marvel executives. We were all robbed blind for decades of having any good adaptations for Hulk period after 2008. We haven't had a Show, Movie, Game or anything in the past Decade and a half almost 2 decades now. And we're probably gonna have to wait at least another decade before anything real get's done for the character outside the comics. Meanwhile Spider-Man who has a pretty similar situation to Hulk still get's to have multiple good if not great adaptations almost year round despite whatever the movies or shows or comics or video games say/do. And the same goes for Wolverine and just about every other character in Marvel. But Hulk? no he get's nothing and Hulk fans have to put up with it until the end of time or until Marvel finally get off their seats and do something good with him which at this rate is at best a 50/50 chance if they'll even make it that far. We will all be elderly by the time a single Hulk movie or show or even game comes out that's at least decent. That should never be the case. It wasn't the case back in the 2000s or 90s or 80s or 70s or even 60s. But ever since the 2010s it's been impossible for us to ever see a good Hulk adaptation of any kind and I for one am sick and tired of all the BS. I'm not gonna wait till my death bed to see a good Hulk movie/show/game and neither should any of you. Marvel should've already had their stuff together well enough back during the height of the MCU to do all the Hulk stuff on screen. Now most people think of Hulk as a side character that was once kinda cool but now is just a dead meme that no one will remember unless they do something to regain his relevance but I somehow doubt that will happen even if Brave New World is a 10/10 I sincerely doubt we will get a definitive Hulk storyline that makes sense and has most of what makes a good Hulk story work with all the bells and whistles. It would've been so much easier and better if they just didn't make Echo, Secret Invasion, She-Hulk stuff like that y'know mostly TRASH! and instead saved their budget for a definitive Hulk series. They would've made soo much more money and people would've been soo much happier and they wouldn't even have to worry about Universal whatsoever. It's honestly that simple.
It never made sense why we never got at least a Hulk Show that takes place between the events of the movies so that way we can get a proper adaptation of the Hulk's Mythos done right. "Universal has the rights so Disney can't legally make one" No they had the Distribution rights to a solo Live action Hulk Movie and nothing else. Marvel/Disney could absolutely make a good Hulk Movie if they changed the title to something that isn't just Hulk or they could make a Solo Hulk Show that takes place between the events of the movies so that way we get a proper adaptation with all the good stuff from the source material. We in fact were supposed to get that year's ago back in the 2010s directed by Guillermo del Toro and was gonna be comic accurate but ultimately it was shut down several times by Kevin Feige and the other higher ups at Disney/Marvel because they wouldn't have direct control over the narrative of the show so they scrapped it in favor of other shows they did have more say in like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Cloak & Dagger and even the Marvel Netflix Shows. Yeah they straight up denied Hulk fans of anything at that point and now we have barely any journey for Banner/Hulk and all we can hope for is if he shows up in a Captain Falcon America Movie as a cameo. Hulk deserves better.

@@DFGHulkOfficial Now that was a comment, whew you really nailed everything I’ve been thinking for years now. I think it’s kinda ridiculous that Cap 4 is an odd spiritual sequel to The Incredible Hulk due to the returning characters like Stern/Thunderbolt Ross and Betty (rumored). However it is seemingly missing it’s focal point that these characters revolve around, which is Bruce. He could very possibly show up or be involved in Cap 4 but we shall see. I’m glad you feel just as I do concerning Hulk’s perception among the general public now vs 20 years ago and farther back. He was a huge “face” of Marvel and superheroes. It’s such a shame to see what they have done with his imagine in not just live action, but in video games and other media as you mentioned. Thanks for the comment, hope you return for future content!

That hulk and how Ang Lee portrayed the hulk. The screenplay captured the story really well and how dangerous his gamma ray induced genetic mutation 🧬 was a danger to society. It’s a shame it got treated badly when it came out. Still top tier in my book.

Im 31. I was little when this came out and i loved it but didnt understand it. Now i see how great and smart this film was. This was what edward norton wanted and why he left with incredible hulk, idk why Eric Bana left i guess cause this film didn't do well but he did a great job!. Now we got a trash weak hulk. I miss Hulk and real Banner.

@@IgoTpaynus69 that’s how I feel now, I’m 24 and finally understand what that film and version of the Hulk really had to say. I was old enough to go see The Incredible Hulk on opening day with my dad and always had a love for it despite being bummed out that Ed Norton never returned and had conflict with Marvel. Kevin and Marvel need to really fix what damage they have done to the Hulk. I don’t know how but it’s needed

Until this came out, all there was to watch was the TV show and various cartoons from the 1960s into the 1990s. I thought it was OK, but when 2008 The Incredible Hulk came out, I liked it better than this. Though I have read that this version of Hulk would have defeated Thanos. I agree with what you said about how they changed Hulk and made him a different version of this character. I think it was too soon to do it. I was not happy when Disney bought Marvel. Long before I knew how they would ruin the character with the catch phrase "strongest one there is." You did a good job going through this movie. Eventually, I will watch my DVD of this at some point again.

Thanks for the comment and the watch! I agree with you, especially concerning the liking of The Incredible Hulk. Always fascinates me that The Incredible Hulk and even this Hulk movie aren’t recognized for their positives, just their negatives because it’s popular to do. Definitely understand that take, it is slowly paced by design, which could be a good or bad thing even for me depending on my mood. I believe this film was a slow burn character drama with action sprinkled in when it would seem like a more normal comic book movie at glance. This one does have its flaws, there is no denying it. Sometimes I just don't click with some movies like others do, so I understand that sentiment. Thanks for the comment and watching the video!
