    Woohooo~!! I HAVE JUST FINISHED watching the latest episode from BBC. I have watched EVERY SINGLE video you guys have uploaded~!! All 1757 of them~!! (You should be able to see my comment under every episode). I have managed to do it in the past but after a brief break from watching it was hard to keep up with you guys :) I watch only 2 videos a day + learn from BBC website/ I am almost up to date there too (I've already studied all the lessons from: Go The Distance, English You Need, Towards Advanced, Upper-intermediate, Intermediate, Lower-intermediate, English My Way, Shakespeare Speaks, English In A Minute). I am currently at Unit 4: News Review/Session 34. I still have The Grammar Gameshow
    and The Experiment ahead of me :) Thank you so much for being and doing what you do. MUCH APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

      Hi Tgchan. We have noticed that you always leave a comment on our pages. We'd like to extend you our sincerest gratitude for being such a loyal fan. It flatters us to know that you enjoy our content so much, you have watched everything we've made. We hope it has been useful to you and look forward to hearing what you think about the last two shows you need to watch: The Grammar Gameshow and the videos from The Experiment. Good luck and thank you again!

    Once I was riding a diesel locomotive as a passenger. I was alone in the rear idle cab and pressed the big red button. Surprise... It had worked... Today I've realized - this is just a fidgeting instinct. Thank you and the British scientists of course.

    Hi ! Buttons are, in action movies, film-maker's best friend! You can find any sort of function made by buttons: you only have to push it and you're done !
    Very useful video, as ever. Thanks !

    I've never heard about this phobia. I've just googled it to know more about it and surprisingly I've found out plenty of other phobias that I didn't know before.

    The children are always curious about everything they don’t know,and when you tell them that they can’t do something,they have a big temptation to do that.

    Well, this week seems more serious than all previous weeks, perhaps it's better that the DJs should be as fun as usual.

    Why does the word "fidgeting" have only one "t" ? But we have "getting", "forgetting"....

    • @bbclearningenglish
      @bbclearningenglish  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an excellent question, Lewis! In truth, we can't be exactly sure. Despite numerous rules, many words defy all grammar! However, after doing some research, the word 'fidgetting' can be found as an old entry in some dictionaries and it certainly existed in the words etymology (word history). We suspect that over time, the second T has been dropped to make the spelling easier. We hope this answers your question.

    Have you mixed up musical intro of 'The English We Speak' and '6 Minute English'?

      Well done, h! In 10 thousand views and numerous comments, you are one of the very few who has noticed! Unfortunately, we made a small mistake and used the wrong title music for this programme. However, it's still the same high-quality discussion and vocabulary. Why not think of it as a quirky one off and take satisfaction in knowing you spotted it! And if you want the version with the correct opening, go to our website! Well done again!

      The episode is fantastic as always, congratulations. The opening clip is not that important. It's was funny to realize that something was different. I had to listen to it twice to confirm it. Cheers!!! :D :D :D
