I don’t know how bands are somehow doing it LESS now that the technology to do it is more accessible than ever. The Sacrament video, the Chimaira movies, even those Linkin Park movies made me appreciate that band. There’s something really special about seeing how everything starts as an idea.
Younger bands do it more spiritbox has a Patreon and releases stuff all the time. I think the older the bands get the least they want a camera in their face all the time
Sacrament remains as my favorite LoG album. I watched the hour and a half documentary on the making of the album, and it made me appreciate it all the more.
Loved this interview! So great to hear a calm and knowing interviewer who knows his shit. Really enjoyed this. Loudwire are good but i can't watch their nervous bad interviews. Thank you Metal injection.
These guys are awesome LoG will always be the top Metal band of all time. I will say that Ashes is my favorite album still, but these guys crush everything they do.
It's probably their most creative album, and it's my personal favorite. I feel like the only album that's come close to Ashes was probably Resolution. As much as I hate to say it, Chris Adler was right about their music being "by the numbers" by the time he quit. I think their most recent album is easily one of their weakest, and it's crazy to think that the songwriting on that album is by the same group of people that made Ashes of the Wake.
@@ex_cathedra4237 that’s funny because I think resolution is their weakest and it sounds like they were going through the motions. I think the new one is really good and resurrection man is the best song they’ve written since walk with me in hell.
Great interview! Mark and the other guys are so down to earth and honest about what they do and who they are, I’ve always appreciated that about them. I haven’t listened to the newest album yet if I’m honest but I should do that soon. As the Palaces Burn, Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament are still albums I can go back to and really enjoy any time. Lamb of God was also one of the first bands I got into that had harsh vocals exclusively so they were my gateway into a lot of the more extreme stuff. Thanks guys 🤘🤘
The latest album would probably be there best. It's a mixture of all combined. I went off them for a while but the latest self title was,a good comeback. It rocks
I am a drummer… I was 14 when I was way into them… their new album I was surprised and still am amazed that the drummer who replaced Chris fucking killed it… epic fills and of course there was a million kids like me who could play every song and prolly just as good as Chris.. the album is amazing and just now getting into Bloodshot Eyes which is a cool song about getting over addiction and drinking which is extremely relatable to the band and me. There is five songs on the album you can’t tell me aren’t Bangers.
I was pretty young when I 1st heard this album and remember being completely blown away by it. Decending freaked me out and I'd only listen to it on headphones or in my car because it felt so dark..but fucking awesome
I would love to sit down and drink some water with him and shoot the shit. He always seemed like the NICEST metal musician in the game. thank you Frank and thank you Mark!
I got arrested on the way to see their tour with machine head, trivium and gojira. On the way to myrtle beach we got pulled over for the plate light being out in darlington.had to spend the night in Jail. Went to court the next morning got out about 1:30 and hauled ass to to the house of blues. It was a killer show.
In the hour long video I am in that situation where 2 bandmates a guitarist and a drummer and as I another guitarist come from different music then them. They both actually listen to the same thing literally the same situation
I dont see how filming it on tv would be any different than playing it at a venue man. You should just go up there and play it like its another show. Dont worry so much about it or you will look nervous. If you didnt make a mistake, you wouldnt be a human being.
I completely agree something about the production seemed off. Which is crazy bc Machine did the album before Ashes and that has some of the best production of any metal album.
@@fallen119 I think the production was fine. Maybe even great im not an audiophile I don't really know how to judge all that. I just know the songs aren't strong. In my opinion, it's lamb of God's black album
Always love for lamb of god! Frank’s interviews are the best
Loved this album first listen🤘🏻❗️
Blacken the cursed sun such an amazing song. Seeing it live is always amazing with the “hell no’s” from the crowd
bands need to put out more tour diary/dvd stuff i love watching that shit

Mark is one of my favorite guitarists. So humble and seems like a cool dude
I love Mark , he’s such a down to earth Rockstar. Willie and Mark will always be on the top of my list for Riff writers in the last 25 years.

First album I bought from them and loved LOG since then
I could listen to Mark for hours. On top of being a killer player, he's a great orator. Frank is a fantastic foil for artists too. Definitely a vibe.
These guys are awesome LoG will always be the top
Metal band of all time. I will say that Ashes is my favorite album still, but these guys crush everything they do.
I think Ashes of the Wake was where they found their sound and it was great. Always my favorite for nostalgic reasons....
Agreed!
Yup. It’s still by far their best record imo.
It's probably their most creative album, and it's my personal favorite. I feel like the only album that's come close to Ashes was probably Resolution.

Mark is awesome man. Appreciate you brother. I see you.
Love Lamb of God. One of the first bands I listened to when I became a Metalhead.
Same
Sacrament may technically sound better as a recording but ashes is one of the best metal albums of all time
I would love to sit down and drink some water with him and shoot the shit. He always seemed like the NICEST metal musician in the game. thank you Frank and thank you Mark!
Completely agree!
Definitely one of their Top albums is the self titled,up their with sacrament and Ashes, can't wait for log to come back to Australia 🤘
Lamb of God changed the metal game I swear! I was listening to Ozzy Godsmack metallica Rammstien and then I heard Ruin 😏✌️🤘🤘😎🇨🇦
That drop rift in Ruin still gives me chills. I've seen them a dozen or so times, and every time they play Ruin, I absolutely lose my shit.

hello, that album Sacrement is amazing.
And this man hasn’t aged at all in those 15 years!
I saw them open for slayer on the unholy alliance tour for sacrament in Salem, OR. So that record was my line in for lamb of god.
Not my favorite Lamb album but it was a big album at the time and still has some good songs.
In the hour long video I am in that situation where 2 bandmates a guitarist and a drummer and as I another guitarist come from different music then them. They both actually listen to the same thing literally the same situation
Dude you guys kicked ass at blue ridge bro
this makes me feel fucking old
It was a great album! Definite stepping stone for them. I wish they would re-record As the palaces burns vocals with how Randy’s voice is now. Lol.
FUCK NO
As the palaces burn with Randy's voice the way it is recorded is perfect
Mark is loosing weight...coool. Willie gave good influence hahahaha
putting down booze helps lol
Lamb of hamburgers
Hell yes he lost a lot of weight. seems like a nice dude
Decending.
Love LoG, but Sacrament was their pinnacle.
Frank could be a little more excited. Sounds like one of those bored motel receptionists.
Did Mark even age at all?
I heard Chris Adler has hobbies now.
Honestly mark really looks healthier, it looks like dropped some weight a looks great
Sacrament is the album where I fell off. Even as a youngster I really preferred that nasty, dank metal on As the Palaces Burn and NAG
Those are classics but bands can’t keep making the same record over and over again.
@@Flux799 I agree to an extent
It's Lamb of God's black album.
Palaces was the first one I discovered back in 2003. Ashes was great but too polished. To me, Palaces was their best.
@@KingConan my favorite is NAG but Palaces is a close second, very close
The themes and lyrics and cohesiveness are on point on Palaces tho

Yea it kinda sucked that they played Pathetic. Not a great song. Not a bad song but I guess you do what you have to do.
You could definitely hear Machine got more his way. Sacrament sucked
