Totally agree. I saw this one in person and it sincerely looks like someone took a can of gold spray paint to a plastic Walmart laptop. Ghetto (and noy in a hip way).
I ended up getting an Alienware for around $3500. It’s like a laptop with the power of a desktop. Pretty awesome since I use it for everything I do on a a computer, which is a lot.
I been told the GE75 Raider is better then the GS75 Stealth when it comes to cooling and not to get the GS75 Stealth due to its throttle problem. The GE75 raider does not have the thunderbolt port is about the only draw back and it is a thicker laptop, but with it being thicker means more air flow to enter and exit allowing for better cooling and performance. The best part between these 2 laptops that seem to rival each other so much is the price. You can get the Raider for cheaper then the Stealth or pay as much as a base model Stealth is and get a ton of upgrades in the Raider more memory duel channeling and have cooling and less to no throttle but with out thunderbolt 3 port. Unless if you want to spend a 1,000 dollars extra in upgrades to improve the GS75 Stealth and try to rid it of some of its difficultys with performance then go for it.

So far the this is only person who has bitched about this laptop and didn’t even max out their specs and expects unbelievably amazing damn results 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Nice review, doesn’t seem that bad for content creation. Light gaming... maybe. @ $3000 CDN definitely wouldn’t be my first option. I’m a little disappointed as well.
So I have the 32gb ram + 2080 maxq version of this laptop, and I can not only run anything I want on ultra while on the laptop, but I can also run almost anything on high plugged into my 4k monitor on my desk. If you get one of these, splurge and get the 2080 if you can, it's worth it!
I was wondering if anyone is having problems with this laptop once you turn on RTX for Tomb Raider freezing lag. Nice Design Great laptop but these issues are super annoying. If anyone knows how to fix please let me know thanks.
Before i watched this vid i was trying to figure out which lap top would be the better buy the Raider or the Stealth and the cooling and throttle part with the stealth was the things i was concerned with b/c of how thin it is. I suppose i was hoping the MAX-Q would do what it was made to do to and not effect game play but i think i am gonna go with the Raider after watching this video, unless if there is a better laptop for about the same price that has style cooling and performance as the Raider seems to have and be priced decent.
I love this laptop but the dinky bottom firing speakers ruin it for me. This is actually a 17 inch laptop with bad speakers. I think MSI should be sued for false advertisement guys. On their website you can not really find information saying that it is bottom firing speakers. They just say it is a passive radiator Dynaudio system. However the main reason why they should be sued is because of the false badge. On the top vent surface area it says Dynaudio but the speakers are at the bottom and the top grille is just for venting out heat.
U need to add an extra ram running single channel 16gb you losing a 30-40% performance. I have the same laptop with same specs and i was disappointed with performance until i did the RAM after that i gain a lot of fps+. Try that and you'll see. 👌🏻
Metro Exodus was around 75fp-80fp after the RAM upgrade it runs 115-140fps. CS-GO was 110fps un ultra now with the dual channel im getting 190-220fps. League of legends before 140fps after 175-200fps
@Connor Burt oh, i got a Crucial 16gb RAM ddr4 @2666mhz you will probably have to take the laptop to a service and repair center to upgrade your laptop with the new RAM because is kind of difficult to get into that just because the motherboard is flipped so is kind of difficult to get into the ram Slots.
Lol what? Didn’t have to use drugs? I’m between this and the 15 inch asus Zephyrus s gu502gv. Which has a lesser GPUs but not a lame weaker max q sooo.....ya. And it has an 9750h instead of 8750h cpu. So really my only thing is do u think it’s worth it for the bigger screen and the 2070 even though it’s a max q? I heard asus is built a bit more solid overall or at least my model I’m looking at.
This laptop is a whole ass disappointment bro. I had an alienware m17 2070 but it started giving me lots of issues within just a few days so I returned it and got my money back. I looked at this and many clerks recommended it, I looked at a few reviews before I bought it and it looked very good, only issue was since the Alienware was on sale for 2.1k I had to add about 200 to get this laptop. I brought it home and noticed very low performance in csgo for example, then I saw people say how it didn’t have dual channel ram which I auto assumed it would but ig not. I think I will he taking this back too and just sticking with my desktop. :(

The AOH hi. how much fps when ray tracing is on? thank you.
My friend is offering to sell me it for 800$ everything’s been treated really nice asking him to get the motherboard checked out as well. I know this is 3 years late but , good deal?
Hell yeah dude
So far the this is only person who has bitched about this laptop and didn’t even max out their specs and expects unbelievably amazing damn results 🤦🏻♂️🤣
how to get the intel extreme tuning utility? is it standard app from factory or download? thx
Very nice review i luved it.
My Blade 15 RTX 2070 runs BF V on all Ultra with ray tracing with no issues.
good to hear because my 270 blade 15 arrives tomorrow
Does your razer still work or have you had to send it back to get fixed like everyone else
Is this better than Legion Y740?🤔
Does this undervolt apply the same to the GS65 if they have the same specs?!
That should be a yes. Intel has an app that will do it, and ThrottleStop is another app.
@@kenarnold9132 Thank you! Do you happen to know the name of the App? Also mine has 32GB of Ram and runs pretty darn fast lol.
@@sebs6736 Intel extreme tuning
Nice review, doesn’t seem that bad for content creation. Light gaming... maybe. @ $3000 CDN definitely wouldn’t be my first option. I’m a little disappointed as well.
are those are the Giant Speakers?
Im planning to buy this on 2nd hand for aron 900 USD . Is it a good deal ?
Me too did buy it? Is it good?
Please share your wallpaper
The beard and shirt on 🔥oh the review is great as well!
Mine comes wity 16gb ram is that single channel?
Fair 🙏🏼❤️
I bought this laptop for school and gaming and it works really well for me. Maybe I got lucky??
So I have the 32gb ram + 2080 maxq version of this laptop, and I can not only run anything I want on ultra while on the laptop, but I can also run almost anything on high plugged into my 4k monitor on my desk. If you get one of these, splurge and get the 2080 if you can, it's worth it!
WTF is up with the two "\ (|)" keyboard buttons???
Notification gang!!!
Oh I like this
I'd love to take that disappointing laptop off your hands... Would love to be able to play PUBG. (cries in English).
Your foughts on hp spectre?
I love this laptop but the dinky bottom firing speakers ruin it for me. This is actually a 17 inch laptop with bad speakers. I think MSI should be sued for false advertisement guys. On their website you can not really find information saying that it is bottom firing speakers. They just say it is a passive radiator Dynaudio system. However the main reason why they should be sued is because of the false badge. On the top vent surface area it says Dynaudio but the speakers are at the bottom and the top grille is just for venting out heat.
Please do a review on Acer Triton 500
i would expect more
U need to add an extra ram running single channel 16gb you losing a 30-40% performance.
@Connor Burtwhat you mean single channel i have ?
@Connor Burt oh, i got a Crucial 16gb RAM ddr4 @2666mhz you will probably have to take the laptop to a service and repair center to upgrade your laptop with the new RAM because is kind of difficult to get into that just because the motherboard is flipped so is kind of difficult to get into the ram Slots.
@Connor Burt precisely and good luck!
I bought the MSI Factory refurbished for $1132 only.
How much is it ?
Hey man.. Review about the Razer Blade 15 RTX series
But can it run minecraft though?
Beat me to it 😠
The poor performance is due to the single channel ram, add another stick and you will see around a 20fps increase in performance.
Yeah the Maxq is not a go for gaming. I would definitely get the regular 2070 rtx variant.
I really like your review....
Hey! There is something wrong with your unit, Just send it to my address and I will ship it back to MSI for it to get fixed.
haha
Asus ROG Strix Scar II rtx 2070 - 2080 all the way baby in the *2019* 🔥
susv = never again
The speakers are disappointing as their competitors.
Look Huawei matebook x pro. It has 4 speakers and it sound damn good! and it cost 1k less, so...
Language is a bit agressive, eg: Battlefield5 and frostbite engine is not unoptimised at all.
No HDR?
