Peja Stojakovic was one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. During the 2000s, he was a major contributor on those Sacramento Kings teams that were contending for the title.
@@Bran-Da-Don yeah you’re tripping . Maybe 25 . This guy played against lebron and played with Chris Paul I don’t think his numbers would be super crazy , their numbers are basically the same
@@donekoburnside1546he said it for clicks just like the initial guy comment. We have had Kyle korvers and other who could shoot the 3 ball. Peja was not ahead of his time. He fit in to his time
Ray is my #1 of the early 2000s and Peja and Allan Houston were 2 and 3, respectively in my book but Wally is kinda slept on. There's about 2 separate seasons where he was KG's best teammate on the Wolves.
Peja was my favorite player during that time period thanks to Kings being so good in NBA 2k5. I remember I used to say "Peja" instead of Kobe when throwing paper into the waste basket.
I like this new format of highlighting great seasons that might be lost in time, you gotta do one for Knicks Stephon Marbury, dude had a few insane highlights
I remember years back I did a 2K simulation replacing Klay with Peja on the Warriors starting from 2015 to see if they'd win more or less chips. I forgot the result. May have to run it back and make content for it 🤔
I was so glad that my dream came true for Peja Stoakavich to join up with the Dallas Mavericks I figured he'd be a good switcheroo player when dirt nowitzki dirty was on the bench pager could step in and there wouldn't be much of a fall off. Now by the time he came to Dallas Mavericks he wasn't the same player he was a player dealing with pass injuries and the shooting wasn't as fluid the shooting was a little rough but when he got hot he got hot
all time great shooter, but underrated player, he used so well the screens and also ppl forget he was 6`10 and uses well his body and got a lot of close layups
Mannnn peja was cold. They all talk about allen and miller but the boy could shoot the lights out. Imagine him on that orlando team when all they did was live and die by the 3. Or even better imagine him in the era of the splash bros 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨. But nonetheless they shoulda got some rings. That kings team was stacked and had a well put together line up.
Would be so cool to see more MJ season highlights when he was at his skilled peak! Any and all seasons in the second three peat (96-98) is my favourite MJ and would love to see 1996 highlights and obviously last dance 1998 highlights! 1997 is underrated too :)
This era basketball was before they put magnets in the basketballs and I believe the rims are magnetized by remote control when they want your shot to leave the rim will put the opposite magnet pole energy in the rim and then the ball will fly out if they want your shots to fall they'll charge up the magnets to attract the ball. Why do I say this well because when sports becomes entertainment more than it is competition then the money is in the entertainment not in the competition entertainment is adjustable and you have to have people playing as an actor rather than playing as a player so that people can get excited and want to see more in a real game with real players you may not have as much excitement but we can control the entertainment part you can control the motions of the people paying the money for you to be in business so again entertainment that's why I think he's shady tactics are taking place
The most obvious one is when they used it against the rockets. There were so desperate to protect Curry and GS 😂🤣🤣. I'm pretty sure they've been around a while though
His name was always Predrag and still is. Peja (Pedja in Serbian spelling) is just a nickname which is a very common thing to do over there. It’s just that the nickname ended up becoming more popular probably since it was easier for people in the states to pronounce.

A man ahead of his time 🙌

Peja was a beast 🔥 those injuries slowed him down but I'm glad he won a championship with Dallas (2011) and he from the 96 draft
I was so excited for him winning that championship. He deserved it. Such an exciting player to have had the pleasure to watch!
He will thrive in today's NBA
As a lakers fan he used to piss me off but as a fan & luv for basketball he used to be a beast I luved watching him play
One of the greatest shooters of all time had the best assist of all time .
No he didn't, there's 100 assists better
I Knew exactly which one you're talking about!😎
He was 2nd in points and 3rd in PPG at 24.2 in the 03-04 season! He was a superstar that year imo
Really? I don't ever remember him being THAT guy
@@codyeble0713 Webber was injured, so he stepped up.
As a die hard lakers fan this man had me terrified dawg but he was lowkey one of my favorites
Peja was fav for sure. Had the best shooting form I've ever seen.. so pretty everytime
Peja Stojakovic PURE SHOOTERS 🔥🔥🔥
finally peja video came....
thanx maxa...
Him and Wally Szczerbiak were one of the best sharpshooters of the early 2000's
Reggie, Ray weren't too bad either.

Underrated.
When the league was great
Straight facts
Still is just more 3s
Straight Facts
🎯💯
It still is
One of my favorite shooters and players from that 2000s era and Sac Kings squad.....Peja and Mike Bibby.
我的天,這是我最愛的射手沒有之一,這影片讓身為老國王球迷的我太感動了,同時又想到02年再度生氣😅
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS. THANK YOU SO MUCH. 🎉
Peja is a Pure Shooter!!!❤ 💪💪💪👏
Before Klay there was Peja. Pure shooter 💦💦
Both beautiful form
Been waitingggg for a Stojakovic comp 🙏🏾
PEJA!!!!!!!
Peja was my go to in NBA live 3 point contest legend
He wasn't just a shooter as you can see he was pretty solid all around and could score off the dribble
A name that needs to be mentioned more
Facts
Peja was immaculate. He's one of those guys if you didn't watch him in his time, you wouldn't know.
Peđa was unbelievable 💪💪💪
You a legend for this one max
Peja was my favorite player during that time period thanks to Kings being so good in NBA 2k5. I remember I used to say "Peja" instead of Kobe when throwing paper into the waste basket.
He was a big star back then, he'd be a God now with how 3 point shooting has taken over the game.
he's the ZEN of the Catch&shoot.
I congratulate you for your work and your great TH-cam content. It's obvious that you love basketball, brother. Respect from South America.
Do y’all see the offensive sets being ran 👀🤤
this team is so underrated... played beautiful basketball. would fit into the league perfectly today.
This was the final season of that great Kings squad with Vlade, Webber, Christie, Peja, and Bibby. I think Turkoglu was on the Spurs at this point
96 draft, the draft was that one
9:50 “if Anthony could develop a consistent three point shot he could lead the league in scoring” damn thats some prophecy right there
Am saying lol
Man that Kings team was fun!
NBA CHAMPION Peja Stojakovic
PEJA!!!!
Beautiful Shooting Form!!!
Que gran jugador y excelente tirador
Aside from that flame 🔥 thrower he had, he just played the game the right way….. fluid and graceful

The boy stoja!
Got foreign shootas on my squad like Peja - that whole Kings team was nice
Peja And the Kings plays like with todays game
PURE shooter.
Legitimately one of the best shooters ever, but is never really mentioned as such. He'd be even better today.
6 foot 10 235. He would be the best pf in the league.
At 6'10 had a clip! I'm a kobe fan but literally In high school when I shot I would say Peja!
Mutombo in knicks😮
Smooth shooting🎉
My favorite 2K player
Sob in NBA ballers phenom

Nice video 🏀👑
The og splash bro
The third most underrated great shooter in league history.
He was 6’10!?!?! Totally forgot that, wow! Shooter!
This KIngs team will feast in today's league

Top 5 Catch n Shoot Player of all time
He would be even better in this era.
All I hear watching this is
“I could rock a 16 like Stoyakavic!”
And I'm straight from the CHI, but I ball like a king up in Cali and shoot like Stojakovic
Pejaaaaa STOYYAKovic 😂😂😂

Dallas Maverick Legend. Peja
👏👏👏
My favorite player after Vince Carter
Peja Stojakovic is lethal shooter during 2000's even Kyle Korver 2 best sharp shooters of all time
Today, he would have around 25 points per game.
Nahhh. 30... He is as around 24 PPG this season that's being highlighted
Stop it
Very good video very channel
Imagine him on those GSW teams with Steph Klay and KD
They knew better not to leave him open but they just can’t 🛑 Peja. Can we see some Mike Bibby highlights?
feels like hes the old time Klay😂😂
Would take Peja ahead of Klay all time 3 point shooters
Before steph ang klay this guy is best shooter
Sniper
Literally plays just like Klay Thompson
Maximilian suggestion do a video on Tom gugliotta a guy similar to pager 📟 Peja
but he missed the one he really needed to make: last second wide open 3 in the game 7 in 2002 against the Lakers
never noticed before but his game is similar to klays
Day 6 of asking Max for a longer version of his 2017-18 Chris Paul highlights video

Wet like water!!!!
ginobili next please
He could average 30 with how wide open today’s game is
Peja was a better scorer and passer but Klay was a way better defender.
HOF'er
Before Salt Bae there was Shot Bae (watch his follow through after a shot)
Can Amare Stoudemire get one Suns or Knicks version???
Who do you guys think was a better passer w him and AK47
