I think from what i have seen Gujarat has a very good population density. Its a huge state, and the Temples, beaches are divine and well maintained. Never tried Gujarati cusine but i will, one day.

Also Gujarat is something else during Navratri. It is something like you would have never experienced before, thousands (someplace lakhs) of people gather around and do garba and the energy is out of this world.

@@folk2630 yes, actually the word "garba" comes from the Sanskrit word garbha, meaning "womb." Garba is performed infront of goddess Amba. We celebrate this 9 day festival to cherish the feminine energy of creation.
Most of the classical dances in India date back upto 500-2000 years and almost all of them have some religious connection but these days they have become more of folk dance where everyone participates irrespective of religions😊

Gujarat is the hub of Industries,especially chemical plants, pharmacies,diamonds etc
Note Gujrat is technically a dry state.
But Foreigners like you can legally get Alcohol by showing permit.
Permit can be generated online within oneday.
In case if you need Alcohol.

the kutch desert tent city was made after that 2001 earthquake. Kutch is the main point where earthquake zone is and to revive that region after 2001, modi ,when he was the chief minister of gujarat from 2001 to 2014, made this kutch tent city and festivals to boost tourism and culture in gujarat
Also 2 new gift smart cities being made to boost urbanisation and planned cities.

You need to visit lukshmi vilas palace in baroda it is the largest private residence till date and almost 4 times the size of buckingham palace. A part of it is open for tours and the Royal family of baroda still stays in the other part.
