- We're taking the dungeon into the THIRD DIMENSION with another play through of "A Song of Gold and Darkness". This time we've got 500 points of heroic do-gooders fighting for law and order crashing the gates of Castle Meatgrinder to see how many points of chaos they can grind into the flagstones before being overwhelmed to the last man.

@@YouSirAreAnIdiot08 I never considered solo gaming before in my life. Now I can’t believe I ever thought so little of it. It rocks. Even if all I do is watch someone else’s solo game.

Orcs are definitely underrepresented. I’m really glad that they made a strong presence here, as it brings back memories of the fun we had with Orcs in many a game from decades ago. Now I can’t wait to see what happens next!
It's funny how times have changed. I've always been a sucker for the undead. Now I'm older and solo I realise I can't logically justify why they'd be where I would once have placed them without a thought. A mummy next to the room with goblins next to the room with the ogre? Maybe once...
@@johnscarr70 LOL. I know exactly what you mean. Even with fantasy, the older one gets the more we appreciate the semblance of plausibility.
@@dartmart9263 I have gone the complete opposite direction by adopting an attitude of 'archetypal underworlds for the win'. The deeper you go the further you get from the source of light and goodness. You descend, not physically, but dimensionally or spiritually, down down down ever closer to the pulsing heart of chaos. With each step down you journey. Rosswise into realms where chaos rules and the normal operation of the universe bends toward the nonsensical and inimical to life, and reason, and justice, and hope.
But that is just me.

Are the Orcs the Splintered Light ones?
I miss being able to buy minis from them but postage and tax now adds so much it puts the individual figure cost above a local 28mm figures :-(
Hopefully our governments will realise what damage the current import / export / postage rules are doing and sort it. Who knows, wargaming could help kickstart the economy!
