Canal Street Cutlery D'Holder verses Schrade D'holder Knife

Hey Guys , I have a Canal Street Cutlery D'Holder and a Schrade D'Holder , I thought I would compare the two . When Schrade closed the doors in 2004 , The president of Schrade with one of his associates along with 6 knife makers all from Schrade opened Canal Street Cutlery in 2005 , so these two knifes were probably made by the same Knifemakers .Check out D'Alton Holder fan club on Facebook

I would highly recommend buying one if you can find one . This one has jigged bone handle with amber dye , They also made a stage handle , the stage handle was made exclusively for AG Russell .

Too bad Canal Street closed, bought my daughter a ribbon candy lockback , ag Russel reported that the scales were supposed to be virtually indestructible. Unfortunately they broke and started coming apart after CS closed so I didn’t burden Russel with a refund. I know that A G would have refunded money but he was a good man and we just kept knife. I like both those knives you have and have noticed that stag itself is guite heavy.
