Here are the books: 1) "How We Love", discusses six stress management styles that we use in relationships to decrease stress 2) "Captivating: Unvieling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul" which identified the three core desires of a woman 3) "Changes That Heal", which discusses the four developmental task that a person must perform to get healthy and 4) "Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No To Take Control of Your Life" Each of these books is Christian and offer tremendous insight into how to improve relationships and build up your character. Have you heard of any of these books?
I definitely agree with the cats part 😂 They always look like they're judging you.. I loved this video! Looking forward to more of your vlogs ☺ I'm also starting my first year of college in a month so watching your vlogs on college makes me feel really happy and excited about my journey ahead :)) See you in your next video ❤
Lol, I'm glad it's not just me😅 Thank you! Aw, that's so exciting!! Let me know if you want any specific college video that comes to mind that you want to see!😁
This is a very interesting question. I thank God that He designed and created the world and all that is. He said it was good, and since I trust Him, I too think it is good😊
@eliselewis I will be honest, I could have used some of this type of training when I was in college. Good luck with this. Hey, I noticed that you are a Christian. Would you be interested in some great Christian books that talk about things like God's standard of beauty, learning how to set boundaries, dealing with secret struggles that women have and learning how to emotionally grow?
They did not. I did my own college searching and decision making. My parents were also okay with me choosing not to go to college. I am paying most of my college, but they do help with some of the payment right now
Being a dorm student, I do not have any personal experience to pull from about being a town student; however, it is a common for town students to hang out in groups together (especially at lunch time bc many of them do not pay for a meal plan) and in chapel. Naturally, not living in the dorms with other students would make becoming friends with dorm students more challenging since they do not share the natural meeting experiences that dorm students are placed into (2 nights of Discipleship group and 2 roommates that can swap each semester as well as dorm and floor holiday parties). On the other hand, BJU has a lot of events that are campus wide and lots of group (public) spaces that are almost constantly available, but depending on how far away a town student lives, this could prove additionally challenging for a busy student who also has homework and would be sacrifices travel time. This is only from my observance and--again--not first-hand experience! If it makes it any better, I know a handful of town students who are in friend groups and that I was shocked to find that they were townies bc of how social they were! Maybe I should do a Q&A to townies sometime 🤔
@@eliselewis Thank you so much for your detailed response! All of that makes a lot of sense. It would be amazing if you could do a q & a on town students. I hope BJU continues to change in the good way that it has been trending and that more local students can/would desire to attend.
hey!! I just applied I am sooo excited :)
Aww yayyyy👏👏

Yes, I am! You’re welcome to comment them here. Since some of my audience is intended to be Christian, many could benefit from them.
Did your parents make you/pay for you to attend this school?
They did not. I did my own college searching and decision making. My parents were also okay with me choosing not to go to college. I am paying most of my college, but they do help with some of the payment right now
Do you think it’s hard for town students to make connections at college with dorm students?
