I will not be selling the George II. Scott's Radios is a President Electronics USA dealer. Which means I only sell President radios available to the USA market. Plenty of European dealers online to purchase President's European radios from.
hello, @scottsRadios, I was wondering, what your thoughts were on this radio vs say like one with skip, or like a am/fm/gmrs style radio. I really like the George i have been looking at it for a while. because of the size of it is good for my dash. I guess with am and fm on the George is good options. I am not sure that much more then that is needed. I am in Oklahoma and its fairly flat here so am and fm get really good range. Thanks for your reviews they are very helpful.
Thanks for the video🙂I owned the first George II in England and never opened it up mine neither , I agreed this is currently the best CB radio available , all the best Dave
I too have the first President George 10M and I ordered it from Greece back in 2001, one thing I do like about the radio is it has a security feature that if the radio were to get stolen it requires a code to unlock it to be functional.
Right on Dave, I have other radios to go on amateur radio with. I prefer to use the CB radio for what it was intended for. It does a fantastic job as does the FCC model. 73
i am over 1 yr now on the anytone i got from you, and i am still loving it a lot! just wanted to say thanx, before all the comments hit it.. you and your videos and your work are always professional, in such a world of fluid craziness! keep on! Maine307 waiving! ..one of these days you need to do an Antenna Base Station for dummies series and compare the ty[pical Antennas we DIY guys look at.
The Anytone is a awesome radio! Good idea on the base antenna. Hard to find the time. My job eats up 10-12 hour of my days. Little time for fun radio themed side productions.
You finally got it & I think its much better as I own one. Cut the wire & move the pin then it goes from 12 meters to 30 MHz. It will output more power 45 watts+ as well but you need to go into service mode & set it. I use mine on 10 & 12 meters with no issues. It also has built in echo & CTSS for repeaters & you can tune the frequency by 1 kHz, 5 kHz, & 10 kHz steps & in between. Now Scott will sell them in the US as I seen many sold in Canada now.
I’m American and I bought it on launch. The “II” has echo and the “FCC” doesn’t. The ‘II’ is more power and a push on the VFO puts an “underline” blinking cursor underneath the digits of the frequency (span feature) increment to move up and down the band.
Yeah I switched on the echo for a minute played with it and switched it off and probably will never switch it back on 😆 I would rather have Noaa weather personally. Hence the reason I use the George FCC version more.

Thx for the review ! I don't feel bad about having the FCC version now !

The George FCC also has the span function.
Personally I would rather have NOAA weather than Echo.
So I'm so stuck between this radio and a Washington.. I'm gonna run a 500 watt linear any recommendations
I guess it would depend on what type of amplifier.
If it has a higher input power requirement then the Washington would be better.
@@ScottsRadios rm italy 503
@@KE8ODY-WV-Ares-Ham-Dad-3O4 if 503 or 503 HD, the George 2 would be better.
Less risk of amplifier being overdriven mistakenly.
@@ScottsRadios okay yeah kinda what I thought

Nice and it has echo

So the George II has more power? Is that the only difference.
