- 40 years old, Jacqui, is a size 20 and she brought a dress online but she hates it. So Jacqui heads to the boutique to find a dress that suit her, but when Jo and Al put her in a dress that’s WAY out of her budget, she’s disappointed. And secondly, a 26 year old Lorna has to quickly find a dress for her wedding in the States.

well, i've seen lori knock $2000 off the price of a dress to keep it in a bride's budget. but yeah, kleinfeld's/david emmanuel would never.
Lots of commenters get mad whenever Kleinfeld or David even puts the bride in a dress that is over budget. So which is it?
So it's now a wonderful thing to allow her to try on a dress that she knows she can't afford? Or David and Kleinfeld are still evil for pulling the dresses but these ladies and Lori are just wonderful?

The first bride... She looked fantastic with the the dress with the cape. I actually cried when Jo and Al made her dream come true by lending her the cape. The other bride looked beautiful too. 💖💖💖💖💖
I love the empathy & compassion these ladies have for the brides. They always go out of their way to ensure that they feel & look fantastic no matter what. Show me another bridal salon that would loan a bride an important piece so as to ensure they have the look of their dreams.

They both put her in a dress she knew she couldn't afford. Most people would shred David Emmanuel for doing the same thing.
It seems like lots of people conform their acceptance of the action depending on only who is doing it. If they don't like the person, it is a terrible thing, and they "do it all the time." But if they like them, they are angels for finding the perfect dress. It is very frustrating.
Seen the first dress so frequently on this show-- and it looks gorgeous on every bride.
I think it suited her better than the one she picked, although the one she chose was lovely too.

On the first bride, I absolutely loved the dress she bought & so glad she received a different cape, I didn't care for the first cape at all! I'm so thrilled for her, she looks lovely!!! 🥂

To me, the 2nd cape was more interesting, it would make her feel more safe with her appearance as it covers a bigger part of her shoulders and it has the advantage of easily taking it off at any time. What she actually liked was that classy, beautiful dress with these tiny, cute details (instead of that big flower of the 1st one), she got it and she looked wonderful!
I liked it without the cape but definitely preferred the first cape over the second.

Really? For putting the bride in a dress that are way over budget? The love that you have for these two is not given for David Emmanuel when his shop does it. Reading the comments, it is a sin to do that and all the bridal consultants online would NEVER do it because it is hateful, rude, and unprofessional.
But now they need to be cloned. So if they worked in David's shop, would it be good or bad if they did that? I would like to know.

So that little cape thing was over £600! It was very generous indeed to lend something that expensive, especially when she wasn't spending much more than that on the dress so really they were risking all their profit.
If it was me I'd be too scared to borrow it in case something happened to it but the offer would be a wonderful thing and greatly appreciated.
That dress was made for her! She is a beautiful woman that feels bad about herself and that dress looks great on her.
She didn't even need the cape. The dress was gorgeous all on its own.

I wish there was a place like that when I got married 42 years ago. The place I went to only had one dress that fit me as I'm a bigger lady. So I had to settle for it. Didn't help that I only had 10 weeks until the wedding.

BEST, most honor-motivated bridal gown fitters I’ve ever witnessed 💗 The design of the cape isn’t my cup of tea (before they announced their offer, I was wondering whether the dress could be purchased alone) but if it makes a bride’s dream come true, that’s all that matters 💐
