She is adorable, and I can relate to her very well. You see all those beautifull clothes, but you know it's never going to fit you, so you only feel left out. And now, she can feel included. So happy for her.

Yea, she really pretty :) I actually do like dresses because I'm built hippy and not very busty, but back when I got married, it was before the big internet boom when a lot of plus was still very old lady looking. Took me hours to find a wedding dress I liked and had to go up to a misses 20 to get it to look right. I've never worn over a 14 unless it was a fitted coat. Would have loved to have gone to these 2, or at least wish I'd have known of Torrid. Theirs are at least on the inexpensive side and would look nice for a small intimate wedding.

Yup! And I'm an amateur plus sized seamstress and it's just nonsense because we can have amazing fashion too! You just can't buy it!

@@wb5408 yea that cracked me up when some well to do girl designed for NY and company and was all " I wanted a line my family could afford " and the cheapest dress was like 110$.
Huh? 110$ is VERY little for even the simplest dress and especially for anything constructed, layered or detailed, as wedding dresses tend to be. If you can’t even afford 110$, make it yourself or do you want a child labour exploitation dress? No way to make it for cheaper without shady practices

There is a look on the groom's face at the 8:52 mark that just makes me feel so good for them. The look says he loves her, he is awed by her, and he is proud of her. As she looks at him, she is so lovely. If wearing a dress makes her feel pretty, I hope she buys a nice one and put it on from time to time to remind herself that she is beautiful. The red lipstick was a phenomenal touch.
I've been married for 42 years, and about ten years ago I began to feel something I couldn't even identify. I felt stagnant, and I couldn't figure out why. Certainly in long-term marriages it becomes pretty easy to take one another for granted, and part of it was that I felt like I was being over-looked by my spouse. I'm not a person who wears makeup, but I went to the store and purchased the brightest shade of red lipstick that I could find (I refer to it as my "Hooker Red" lipstick--LOL). I just wanted to shock my husband so he would take a fresh look at me. Two things happened: 1) he didn't notice the lipstick, and 2) I felt bold and powerful when I wore the lipstick! So, when I'm facing a day where I think I need to feel stronger than usual, I go for that red lipstick!
I hope she gets a nice dress (and twirls around and around in it!) and some lipstick to remind herself she is as strong and beautiful as every other woman out there.
Wow such a pro tip! I’ve never been in a relationship, I’m still a student and struggling with my appearance so I only wear a dress occasionally. Once I build the confidence, I guess I would try to feel pretty. I hope you stay happy and content with your marriage.💗🫶
shame he never noticed the lipstick, did you ask him whats different??? Its funny but my husband notices too much, he is very complimentary but, if he does not like what I am wearing he will tell me, wish he wouldn't.
That made me cry. I don’t really watch these videos for the dresses but for the human emotions and the transformations of these beautiful brides that ooze confidence and happiness.
It breaks my heart to hear these women say "I didn't think anyone would want to marry me." I hope this gives he the confidence to start looking for clothing that can make her feel more feminine. I really don't understand why fashion can't be for all of us, not just women that are size zero, it's ridiculous. This beautiful woman sees something in the mirror that we don't, and I so wish we could flip their minds and they could see the beauty we see. What a beautiful dress, one of my favourites.

@@mewsie80 Exactly! They did her dirty. The color match was bad, it was too heavy, no color in her cheeks, and the blend on her neck was tragic. She was beautiful and happy, I just wish her skin had a better chance to shine too.

It's not really about finding a dress that makes Sarah feel feminine, though. It's about Sarah feeling like the bride SHE wants to be. If she felt better in a bridal pantsuit, that would have been lovely, too!

2 reactions, first - when she swept that pesky veil back from her shoulder in the foyer, it was nice to still see her instinctive athletey motion underneath and 2., It's the most I've believed it's about true love on this show and not the girls's lifelong being a bride fantasies. My favorite episode so far. Okay here's a third, I have never seen a man look so happy standing in front of his bride. I wish I could bottle their feelings from this day for them.

Interesting that she doesn't feel feminine in her regular clothes. I'd say she looks feminine, just not ultra girly. But most women aren't. Anyway, she's brave to wear red lipstick, I never could.

I know many larger lovely ladies who wear great fashionable clothes. It might take a little trial and error, but there are beautiful clothes for ladies in large sizes. It takes some getting used to when you are a jeans and hoodie person most of the time. This bride is gorgeous!

I believe the phrase "bride to be" is short for "bride to be wife" and groom is also a temporary condition as he soon as marries he becomes the husband.
I LOVE that dress and love it on her. Who says her shoes need to be heels? Get some wedding glammed Chuck Taylor shoes or some other trainers to glam up and be fabulously comfortable.
This is one of my favorite episodes now. I could identify so much with her and I don't even do sports. Maybe because we share the same name 😂 but I can totally relate to not feeling girly or pretty in your day to day. I always look at other women dressed up and think, if I wore that exact same outfit and put on the exact same make up I would never look like her. I always think it would look like I am wearing a costume. This episode made me really exited for my own wedding in a couple of months, putting on my dress and just enjoying it
I'm one of those women who wears heels and makeup and skirts or dresses every day. Here's the secret: it totally IS a costume. I look like a troll under a bridge when I'm at home in my sweats like everyone else ;) It's just playing dress up!
