WOW! Joe. I oddly kind of share the same history as you. I started out in my youth with A body Mopar's (66 barracuda, then 72 Dodge dart, then 71 Duster). Then I moved on to Japanese cars, Datsun and Toyota (81 starlet with 4AG). I'm also doing the same build as you. I have a 73 240Z ex racing car that's been cut up (has a 383 Chevy stroker and full cage) and bought the Ferrari 250 GTO kit for it (I got the flip nose version of the kit). I've had the kit and car for over 7 yrs now, I'm stuck at the first steps though. I'm trying to find someone on the west coast (I'm in central CA by Modesto) I can trust to help me do the body on the car the right way. All the mechanical, electrical will be easy for me but I haven't been able to get past that first step. Anyway, good to see your project coming along and I'm going to stay glued to this channel for updates. It's looking awesome bother!

Can you tell us more about the trunk conversion. Looks great to have the trunk appearance rather then the hatch. Thanks
somebody out there makes the fiberglass conversion piece, I’d have to ask him who offers it but definitely the way to go over the old hatch look. They were a little pricey but I told him he better do it now or he’s going to regret it later!

“ Ztrix sells the clear covers. he also has one pair of the original chrome bezels from the kit, but he will not sell them. He told me he was going to use them to have some fabricated, but he hasn't got around to it yet.”
