If the target game had some really exceptional packaging with decorative and vintage artwork it would be a different story. It was a literal bag, a dirty old plastic bag. You made the right choice.

I REMEMBER seeing photos of that mask!! I would bet money it was a late 80s mask. I remember advertisements for increasingly gory masks in Fangoria in the late 80s. That might be where I saw it. But I only collected Fangoria up till 1989, maybe early 1990 but then stopped when I graduated High School (1990) and moved out of my parents' house and went to college. I only have a few issues of Fangoria from 1990-1994 when it really softened up on the gore. So possibly it was in a early 90s Fango ad but I doubt it. I would bet money it was from the tail end of the 80s. Anyway - super cool. Here's hoping you track it down!!

Great score. I couldn't have let that Trcic Reptile go though myself. I'm sure it wasn't easy. Yea, he worked on Day of the Dead with Savini and played the zombie on the table who's guts fall onto the floor. And you made the right call on the shooting game, looks awesome now! Who cares if its in the bag or not, it's still all original and looks great!

That reverend piece is awesome! Great score. The haunted house shooter toy looks so much better than it did. I think u made the right decision on that.

i liked the reptile head more, but im also not the biggest poltergeist fan, not to say that reverened isnt awesome cause it is lol. you should get an actual display to put it in now that its not sealed, looks way better with the pieces affixed too

Man he creeped the shit out of me when \i first saw the film. It loots just like him. I'd display that game in a case but out of the bag. It just looks better.

That is a sick mask Poltergeist 1 and 2 bring back so many great memories for me, that dude was creepy as hell! I saw that at the drive-ins when it came out and really loved it! Great job putting that game back together it looks way better, who cares about a stupid plastic bag it looks awesome out so you can see it! The great thing about bags is they work both ways, things coming out can go right back in!

All orginal and rolled in mint condtion. Love to see similar collections. Well done sir.

In 1976 the name was changed to Chrysler New Yorker. It is a leftover Chrysler Imperial. Employed with Chrysler Corporation 1962 to 1987. Detroit Michigan.

I Too Have Hammerhead. I've owned 6 of them my entire collecting life. The one I currently own is in great shape minus neck rot beginning to happen on the bib.

Holy crap! I just found your channel because the thumbnail of this mask caught my attention. I had it when I was around 13. Mine came from a catalog called Nightmares International, one of the many catalogs I ordered from the back of Fangoria. When Nightmares International went out of business, they sent me a catalog full of closeout prices, and I think I paid $16 for it. This was around 1988. I used it in high school when I ran the makeup and props department for the Jaycees haunted house… where it and several other masks were stolen. We were poor, so I saved up all year to get a couple of Topstone masks each year, and this one was my only “high end” mask haha.

The most recent saucerman from Distortions is the best representation of the film. He has the lobby card coloring and really makes a powerful impression. I would never part with this if it were in my collection. I like it even better than the one Kirk Hammet figure had on display when I saw it at Salem Mass. not sure if it was cast from the original. The orange coloring may have been how Paul Blaisdell brought it to the set, but I always have liked my space invaders as “little green men”

The new saucer man bust is from the original mold according to a video on the distortions website where it is for sale.

What an honor it must have been for Tom Savini to buy a mask from Zach.

That's crazy that he filled that giant mask with latex that's probably around $5-600 worth of latex if you did that today. I'm sure Frank had the hook up on mask making supplies but dang!
