I came to the comments section just to say that. I saw part of this movie and immediately I thought "If there isn't a Rifftrax, at least let me watch TH-cam skewer this movie." But all the reviews are typical TH-cam "geek" reviews. Nothing original. Then I see this and I'm laughing my head off. Love it!
The movie already has a ridiculous concept but then to include the Elvis line that means this universe also has Elvis AND Drexel and both had a twin, born same time, etc. Maybe the one line was an editing mistake, otherwise it absolutely annihilates the entire movie
Brad Jones was as happy to review this and as gleeful in retelling it's stupidity in his midnight screenings videos as Korey was here. Seems to be an amazingly awfull movie.
After watching this review I had to watch the movie on Netflix. it's truly a gem of awefulness. If you watch it as a comedy you will laugh your ass off.
There should be a special place for bullshit movies that people should still see . I'd say the discount theater but some movies don't even make it there.
I found your discussion on this movie to be a little like Congress and the American people - disconnected. The people like it and you are disconnected. The simplicity of the film is what makes the movie. The music is fantastic. Whoever was in charge of set design was brilliant. There is so much detail to the time era of each generation. I will admit that Ryan Wade looks like if Rock Hudson and Elvis had a baby - Ryan Wade would be him. :)
(Grin) Sounds like it, doesn't it? I guess I just liked the innocence of the movie. One can imagine, I guess, if you grew up with a talent, a desire, a wish, and you had a 'identical' out there who was discovered first - no matter what you did, how talented your are, you have now become an imitator. Some of it was extremely campy - but again, that was the movies charms. As far as my disconnected comment, I was looking on the Rotten Tomatoes scoreboard, and the critics collectively "hated" this movie. lol (I get it) But the audience gave it a 75% approval rating after they saw it. That is why I say disconnected. :)
Well, I'd be careful about those figures if I were you. Sure, 75% of the audience who saw this movie liked it... but considering the sheer incompetence of this movie, they may not like it for the reasons you think.
Your guys' laughter is contagious. Just sayin'
The only three faith based movies I like: Ben-Hur, Prince of Egypt & Joseph: King of Dreams.
Martin Elvis impersonation was spot on.
6:28 Laughed so hard I started coughing. That's hysterical!
I hope this is rare rating to see but for movies like this one the rating should be called a "full price bullshit"
'Fuck You Better Than Sex'
I think I just found my new favorite TH-cam movie reviewers.

I special ordered the movie on DVD, thinking I'd just watch it once but it is unbelievably funny. I'm keeping it to show at parties.
So when's the Bad Movie Roast?
This review makes me want a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Oh that sounds good!
Elvis was on to something. When it came to fried food, he was ahead of his time.
I replayed that liftoff laugh Korey does at the very end 20 times over.
Full price :D
Red Letter Media needs to watch this on Best of the Worst.
So would this be this year's Oogieloves?
Wait a minute.......wwwhat the fuck 😂
This movie sounds like the producers watched "Walk Hard," thought it was serious, and tried to emulate that.

As a Christian, there have been some faith based films I have liked, and some that I haven't. This one sounds awful, haha
At 6:28 he looks like a young Paul McCartney.
