This move is considered very dangerous because of of the risk of spinal injury that it poses.The penalties for spiking an opponent on their head or neck are identical to the previously mentioned rules for illegal moves. In this case, there would almost never be a warning issued to the guilty fighter. Instead, the fight would be immediately stopped and the fighter would be penalized.

This should have been a no contest in my opinion. You are allowed to slam opponents but not allowed to "spike" them. This was not a spike, it was a slam where the fighter's head was in an unusual placement, so it ended up underneath.

UPDATE: Joshua “The Passion” Pacio is clear in his ct scan results according to the doctor who read the results, there is no fracture, brain damage and neck injuries.

Actually the right thing would've been to step in immediately after the head spike and prevent the strikes afterwards but Herb treated it like a TKO stoppage
Brooks is strong and he also know that Pacio is not easy to beat. But brooks know more about the Rules because he is wrestler grappler and jujitsu. For me there is taking advantage this.

Plus he is totally incompetent.
He officiated three fight in one night, all of which ended with a fighter being choked unconscious. The total time between the fighter(s) going out and him stopping the fight(s) was 18 seconds.
That is an average of six (6) seconds of unconsciousness between three (3) fighters, in one night.
Beyond that, he is the most biased/racist referee that I have ever seen; which he proves every single time there is a black fighter facing someone else.

Its a reckless move for sure, brookes is experienced enough to know better than this. Adrenaline probably got the better of him but rules is rules. Its a extremely dangerous move and he deserved to be disqualified, dont want anyone else have to go through this situation.
