- In this video we're installing a set of 4 Rapid Precision Valves from Apex Performance Products, the same people behind that AWESOME Power Steering Boost Valve!
These valves are designed to replace the valve stems in your tires and drastically increase your air-down time. Apex advertises a less than 15 second air-down time, from 35-10 psi, on 35" tires. We're running a bigger tire, so our numbers came out differently but needless to say, we're impressed.
They're super easy to install and even easier to operate. The push valve allows you to quickly open up and close the valve; and with the Schrader valve you''re able to monitor tire pressure in real-time. Allowing you to quickly shut off the air-flow the moment you reach your desired pressure.
They make two different sizes for wheels with a deeper valve stem well, so make sure to watch and see how to measure before getting a set of your own.

Love these valve stems, makes it easier to air down tires for off roading

For bedlocks we need just 1 for each beadlocks? Or need to replace 2 per each beadlock

It's easier and you won't accidentally drop the core. As far as faster? We should give that a test.
yes. its a bit faster, significantly faster ( i don't own these, but have been doing a bit a research because they look tempting to buy)
Can you use these with balance beads?
You could, but you may have problems down the road if your beads start powdering up.
Will these stems fit the AEV Borah wheels?
How deep is the valve stem well?
Can see them being lots of fun when at a shopping centre lol
For the price, they would have made sense if they had a set PSI to drop the pressure to... lets say set them at 8 PSI and just flick the lever and walk away...

They claim to air up 30% faster, is this true?
Not sure how it could air up faster, it still uses a standard Schrader valve, which would be the restriction point.

The air valve has about 20% more flow than standard on the air up, not as drastic an improvement as the air down. It was primarily designed for fast (and precise) deflation & to use standard inflation tools."
Anecdotally, I can say that it does seem a little bit faster than my stock valves, so it's a double win in my book ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Takes me less than 5 mins to air down all 4 tires right now but for $120 I can cut maybe 2 mins off that lol. Ok seriously though not a horrible price and a good idea but those would end up getting broke off the first time I went out. I would rather spend the $4 to replace a standard valve stem every 6 months then $30-$40 possibly every time I go out.

Im wondering what kind of wheels you're wheeling on that you're needing to replace stems that often?

@@c938695 Have you ever heard of automatic deflators like Staun or Trailhead? They are faster than any manual method, as you simply screw them on and walk away until they are done deflating. You don't need to sit and babysit each tire while it deflates.

If you have rubber valves anyone could rip those out, tpms sensors stems easily snap off. Knifes also go through sidewalks just as easy. But chances are if you have this you also have a compressor etc in your vehicle.
No one will know what those valves are. Even in the off road world almost no one knows what these are. You think some street punk will have a clue?
