    We installed these Apex AutoLYNX with the Antirock because it was already installed on the yellow JL and we really wanted to try these AutoLYNX disconnects out. YES, it is redundant to run them both. YES, they both work good. But you really only need one or the other.

    Just a best practice suggestion here... Once off the trail it is best to push and click at least one side into place and then the other side will automatically lock. if both sides are left undone it is a lot harder for it to lock automatically. Thank you for the awesome install video!

    AntiRock vs AutoLYNX. Which one and why?

    • @jfloydsea
      @jfloydsea ปีที่แล้ว +2

      AutoLYNX retains your stock strength sway bar while still allowing articulation when you switch them. Anti rock is just a lighter weight sway bar all the time.

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep, @Jason Floyd has got it right. The Antirock is a lighter rate sway bar that is there all the time. The AutoLYNX can be ran with the stock sway bar.
      As far as which one? I would say it depends on your driving style. If you drive your Jeep like a sports car and love twisty roads at speed, I'd go with the AutoLynx, you can run a firmer sway bar. If you don't mind the extra body roll of the Antirock on the street, then the Antirock is the easiest to use, because you don't have anything to disconnect. Just drive right onto the trail and back onto the street.

    • @Shuki-g
      @Shuki-g ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I say definitely anti rock , it’s the best of all worlds
      On the road it’s a little lighter , nothing a good set of shocks can’t handle.
      Off road it flex very nice(almost like no sway) but with the safety of connected sway for extreme situations ,
      And best part you don’t have to deal with it at all.

IMO use the flex of the antirock for mild rock crawling when you need some flex and the disconnect the Apex when you want all the flex.
