Good stuff, That bullet is made for the 1-10 Ruger revolvers loaded hot. 😜 We made a hollow pointer on one but it doesn’t fix the length in lever issue. We did remove a GC cut off the 30 cal on a mill but should have done that one too, BTW, looks like we ordered the wrong style sights! 😂 I love red dots though but really liked the stock Buck horns on the guns I shot, much better than Marlin sights. 🤷♂️
So my quest is the modification to the mold, do you have to re etch the very shall grooves in the top for the base of the bullet to fill out correctly? I want to do exactly what you did with the result of that bullet.
Really good thinking, there, Pastor. I like it. That's a great looking bullet, and you already know it's gonna shoot.
Thanks Jamie👍🏻
Nice job on the modified mold looking forward to the range results thanks for sharing
Thanks Julio. Hopefully we’ll get some good weather soon and I’ll go to the range 👍🏻
Happy New Year GB, I looked at levers this weekend at the RK gun show here in Cobb. The 44’s were calling my name. Maybe one day. Thanks for sharing
Happy new year Chico! Hope y’all are doing well👍🏻
Looks great after ya modified it brother. I’m kinda doin the same thing trying to narrow down one load for everything 🙂🇺🇸🔥👍👍
Exactly. I only need one good load for each gun. 👍🏻
I’m looking forward to seeing how it prints. Shorter, and more forward CG had ought to stabilize well.
It shot pretty good with that bullseye sight. We’ll see how I do with these semi buckhorns👍🏻
Looks like a winner!!
Yeah buddy👍🏻
Looks like a good bullet to me. I don't have any gas check molds other than the Lee 225-55-RF. I think that was a good move to mill the mold.
Yeah, I like it much better now. I have no need for gas checks lol

Yeah, I knew it shot good in yalls redhawk. You never know, you might like the new sights 🤷♂️ 👍🏻🎯
Lol, I don’t rest them much anyway. 👍
@@unclejim2330 offhand baby!
Good to know, you know me brother love my 44s
Gotta love the 44👍🏻🎯
Good stuff, Georgiaboy44!
👍🏻💥🎯
Can't wait to see the targets.
As soon as this crazy wind dies down I’m going to the range👍🏻
I agree on the loads . Supplies to hard to get. If you will can share the part number on those sights . Like to try on my 45 colt.
Yup, one good load for each gun is all I need. Midway product # 120698 on the rear sight.
@@georgiaboy4410 thanks
I reamed my 45 Version to remove the GC. Shoots fine.
My Rossi 45 C has similar twist and actually shoots heavies better then it aught ta!
You never to to take try. Around 265 gr in the 44 has the weight and velocity I’m after👍🏻
@@georgiaboy4410 i have a 265 Ranch Dog Mold for the 44. Shoots well.

I just made another vid where I explain what we did to the mold and tested the bullets at the range.
Good to know GB, I have a Rossi 92 in 44 mag. You're a deadeye with yours no need to work on smaller groups! 🤣🤣🤣
Lol, my eyes ain’t what they used to be but I still like to shoot irons👍🏻
I'm a fan of flat base cast bullets . Installing gas checks isn't fun .
Or necessary lol👍🏻
It's been at least 5 years since I used gas checks . A flat based and powder coated bullet works fine .@@georgiaboy4410
Beauties.
Yeah man👍🏻🎯
