Oh my goodness Josh! That is a LOT of snow! Wow! That’s funny about the Tootsie rolls! You have a genius for a cat strategizing like that! Yeah, much of the modern life isn’t necessarily better… thanks for the visit and stay warm over there! Hopefully the North will pick up their snow if it doesn’t warm up!
I'm with ya on that title! 😂😂 Septic tank folks and undertakers have the best sense of humor Yeah, count me out of the drinking and smoking weed scene.
Yes Greg the escapism that most people enter into with alcohol and weed is a big problem. Alcohol makes people not care and weed just makes people stupid. Like not even able to keep track of what day it is. Remember a conversation you had yesterday. It's all escapism. Life's to hard for em. Life's always been hard, their just weak.
You're not alone Josh. I am a 37-year-old man from MI that feels like you do regarding having the thoughts and feelings of "our crowd" being few and far between. From my perspective, it's a blessing in the long run. I feel like for most of us that are pipe smoking enthusiasts or connoisseur, we like our quiet time and alone time. However, we also desire a community of like-minded people that do share some similar interests. I think with us having access to this kind of communication platforms we can connect more readily than not. I hope you can find more trustworthy and honest people to associate with. Take care and God bless my friend.
I've been told since I was a little kid that I was born a century too late. I grew up in a very old extended family and was always told I reminded them of their childhood. While I enjoy many modern conveniences, I can't find much in common with the modern world or modern people, who seem to me, can only relate to what they can purchase and are always striving to obtain the next "latest thing" that comes on the market.
I work for the airline that's headquartered in ATLANTA. And I never do trips through there because that overpopulated airport plus the slightest rain sprinkle equals a rolling delay. So a snowstorm must have been apocalyptic.
Haven’t drank alcohol in 7 years. As for marijuana it never interested me. Very popular in my high school in the 1970’s I think medical marijuana is a rip off , I would not use that garbage if they paid me. Good chat.
@@StDavidpipes these days, I might have a drink occasionally at home, other than that, I sometimes have a drink when we go out to dinner with friends. That's about it. I never did understand the marijuana thing.
Having time for friends is hard when you have a family. I am 44 and made a friend this past year that's almost 70. We have similar interests, similar drinks, similar smokes. It's great spending time with him, when I can.
@@LifeWithAPipe I totally understand having a family and not having time to spend with friends, we have a few friends that have children, and they don't get much time to spend hanging out with friends. We totally understand that, and just enjoy the times that we do get to spend time with them.
I as well am almost 40… will be in March… i don’t play video games…the wife and don’t have kids (not by choice in the beginning, the wife had a bad health scare) I like to have a drink every now and then. I don’t have an issue with weed… did it quite a bit when I was younger. I’m a drummer and have been in lots of “jam sessions” where it was pretty prevalent… I have seen it work wonders on people… and keep people from doing anything. It all just depends on the person. Take care my friend! Happy smokes!
this time of the year we up here usually have 3 to 5 feet on the ground, this new year we have 6 inches, and you are welcome too have that snow we didnt get,
Never have touched weed and quit drinking many years ago. These weed laws aint about freedom. Their about control. It makes you weak minded and dependent. Alcohol at least in my case impacted my mental health. It always made me dwell on the negative experiences Id had any time I imbided it. Brought out negative memories of things I saw or had to do. It kept me down in those negative places. I didnt realize that until I quit doing it. The modern world has lost touch with morals. We need shame to come back into circulation. Take care.
@@jameslong4929 i've never been into the weed, or any drug for that matter. I did a little heavy drinking in my early 20s, but they didn't last very long. Hey Josh😊 i can take or leave moden technology. I got along fine before it, and now i just use whats useful to me. I will say that im of the opinion the Internet and advanced modern technology does more harm overall in society than good. The useful parts are minimal, but the rest of it is just nonsense. Because of all the damn battery cars, 4cyl engines, and everything else with 6 catalytic converters that produce water you can drink, and commercial diesel engines with DEF and crap on them. Don't be so quick to talk down on Cannabis! You would be surprised how synergistic it is with tobacco, and a generally happier, more self-loving life. Yes, there's the "lets get high" crowd, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have anything else of value to offer.
