    Mine is currently in the same position as the start of the vid and seeing this has made me change my mind and go for over fenders. Hopefully suits a duce kit. Top vid mate, keep them coming

    This video has really inspired me to collect the repair panels over the year and jump into it next winter. I might even make a video of how not to do it! Cheers

      I'm gald I've inspired you, the links I've provided for the sill and rear quarter are a great cheap source and a really good fit, definitely a winter project

    Very surprised you went through so much effort with the filler and paint under the over fender, not a dig at all as looks great, just if the over fender gets damaged bad enough you need to remove and repair it generally the quarter behind gets damaged too, only from my own drifting experience though. Your end result looks really nice and as you say if you took the fenders off for any reason you could drive it about and not be too noticeable from a distance.
    I'm just at the point of deciding to tub and overfender my turbo mx5 or do a straight repair panel job and come back to tubs later, if and when it does take a knock.
    Don't know if you realise but both your links just go the the mx5 restorer page not the exact product and also there was no link for the over fender. Keep it up, love the blue!

      @Project380  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think its just me being optimistic that only the over fender will get hurt 🤣
      o no, no i didn't realise the links didn't work, thank you i shall try fix that now

      @@Project380 No problem I always mess up links in my video's but then don't notice for a couple months ha ha. I think with or without fender it will still look very cool, that blue is very similar to my old s14 saphire blue colour. Love it!

      Just about to fit same overfenders front and rear but fix them permanently...do you not need to cut the quarters and wings further up to the start of the overhang lip to fit the tyres properly without rubbing?
