I am a Jamaican living in Idaho as well, and I do know Thelma ☺️ yeah is not the usual place to meet other Jamaicans here but we have a little group of Jamaicans and we still get excited every time we meet a new Jamaican here 😊😊

Great interview, also memories. My Mom was born in Text Lane as well, so those areas would have been familiar to her, and I saw them for myself when I went to JA. My Mom had she not passed would be about 90 now so she would be older than Ms. Thelma. Great interview, and I really should not be surprised, but I never connected the words Jamaicans and Idaho together, but we're everywhere.

Xavier, another great and entertaining one. I am a bit biased as she is my dear friend 😊. But seriously you are so skilled at making your guests feel comfortable and confident. Thanks again for all you do to provide us with such wonderful education and entertainment.

Hi Thelma, fellow alumni - very interesting interview. We are all over the place. Thanks for the info on Idaho. Girl our teachers were great especially Ivy Grant (Latin). Winnie Crooks (English) she is still alive. We JA and Camps are very adventurous and enjoy traveling all over the world. Anyway, stay warm and remember "Only the best is good enough". Blessings! Barbara Taylor

I am looking for a kind Jamacan who visits Jamaca regularly. I have a missionary friend who lives north of Montego Bay. It's too expensive to mail her stuff. She teaches children and needs books. I need someone who wouldn't mind bringing her stuff from me.
