I am a Jamaican living in Idaho as well, and I do know Thelma ☺️ yeah is not the usual place to meet other Jamaicans here but we have a little group of Jamaicans and we still get excited every time we meet a new Jamaican here 😊😊
Great interview, also memories. My Mom was born in Text Lane as well, so those areas would have been familiar to her, and I saw them for myself when I went to JA. My Mom had she not passed would be about 90 now so she would be older than Ms. Thelma. Great interview, and I really should not be surprised, but I never connected the words Jamaicans and Idaho together, but we're everywhere.

I am looking for a kind Jamacan who visits Jamaca regularly. I have a missionary friend who lives north of Montego Bay. It's too expensive to mail her stuff. She teaches children and needs books. I need someone who wouldn't mind bringing her stuff from me.
