Hi Xavier,Elaine and everyone 🎉another excellent interview ! Portlander in London checking in 😊
This was a fantastic interview . The lady is actually my dearly beloved Aunt whom I always show off that a have this pretty petite aunt with blue eyes !!😂😂😂. It was only later on in life I realized they were hazel and not blue eyes ..😂😂😂
She’s one of the kindest brilliant humble human being to encounter and has been there for me throughout my ups a downs. She’s my mentor my counselor and spiritual advisor . Congratulations on your book Aunt Elaine and I’m looking forward for my copy . God Bless U and I Love U immensely 😇😇🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️
Your Auntie was really great and provided so much information. She is also very nice and brilliant. We would speak for hours.
A delightful episode-thank you for hosting!
Great interview with Elaine. I have some great friends from Bluefields. A group of Nicaraguans stated a Moravian Fellowship in their homes and later rented space at the Espiscooal Church. Then Jamaicans and other West Indian Islanders joined the group. We worked together to build The Prince of Peace Moravian Church located at the corner of 183 St and 19th Avenue. Some of the most loving people I have met.
Wow. That is amazing. Thank you for sharing that information and the Jamaican connection. I hope to visit one day and will keep that church in mind.
Elaine, I enjoyed this interview immensely 😅, so much Jamaican ..thank you for flying the flag high❤ 🇯🇲 ..Xavier, thank you for bringing our people nearer to us❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching. A great interview.
Outside of Managua in the countryside reminds me of being in Jamaica. I have been to Nica twice and I loved the experience.
Did you get to Bluefield? Thanks for sharing your experience. Hope to visit one day.
My grand uncle went there as a missionary through the Moravian Church in the latter part of 1800, around 1870. I still have family there were in touch. Bluefields.
That’s awesome. Has there been any family reunions
Another great interview.

Such a delightful interview. I just passed through her community going to Montego Bay (the old route before the highway) recently.
It was such a pleasure driving through the mountainous terrain.
Very interesting conversation!
Thank you for watching. I am sure Elaine will be delighted to here you passed through her district.
Great interview, and a very warm, beautiful and personable lady. My Sister Neva, was working for UNDP in Guatemala and Nicaragua for several years, it is quite possible that they may have crossed paths. My Sister is half-Chinese but Jamaican to the core. Anyway...once again you've nailed it. Merry Christmas Xavier.
Thank you. I have not done Guatemala yet. Would your sister be willing to do it
@@xmurphy2485 Unfortunately Xavier, every family has drama and I am not on good terms with my Sister. She is my Sister by my father's side, and not by my Mother. She is a bit older than me, and since she was raised in JA and we in UK we were never close. She didn't do right by my Father so our last meeting was not positive, at this point, I just lift them up daily in prayer and wish them the best. For the sake of my Dad I did try to reconcile but it was not reciprocated, sufficient to say that if I had a few letters after my name, millions in the Bank and was a person of influence, I would be tired of seeing them.
@@anthonymccauley9101so sorry to hear this and praying that for family reconciliation. Blessings.
Thoroughly enjoyed this segment.
Awesome interview.
