    Got 100 hours now on my 2024 5075E Premium Cab with 520M loader. It really is an Awesome tractor...comfortable, quiet, smooth, powerful, easy on fuel, the list goes on.... Except for things like checking the engine oil. Try checking the engine oil on the tractor in this video, 23+ 5075E with loader attached. JD made it easy to pull out the big yellow dipstick, but it takes superman x ray vision or yoga master flexibility to get it back in without collecting debris. I ended up sticking a small magnetic tool tray on my loader frame that works perfect as a mirror so I can see the dipstick tube. There are a few other minor issues that have me shaking my head wondering what they were thinking, yet all of them are easy to address at the factory without any added parts or labor $. JD needs to get in touch with me, I would have tested the new 23+ 5E tractors "free of charge" before they went to production to make the tractor perfect so the only thing left for the jd haters to complain about is color.

    So I’m confused he said it does it’s own regen but you Tim said it was gone so is it just a different regen system that you don’t have to stop to do because I don’t have to stop now to regen? Just misunderstood that part sir

      Went from a 5085M in 2019 to a 2021 5075E both open stations, the 5085M was a far superior machine in the field but daily tasks barn clean outs etc the 5075 really does well. They should all have up sized tires in my opinion 5075E I was lucky to get one with radials but a great machine for its size

      I also own an 18 5075E. It's a MFWD, with the convertible option, 12x12, 540M. Good machine. Paid $36,200 for it in April of 18. I wish that was still the price. It's a good hay tractor. Also a good tractor for getting in the woods with ( unless you leave that long ass loader on it) With the loader off it's likely the most nimble machine in its class that I've driven. Excellent visibility off it as well. The fender mounted throttle is the bomb. I didn't think I was going to care less about it, but it's great. Barely ever use the foot throttle with it unless I've doing loader work or am riding one of the kids around.
      These are some desirable updates. Still my DPF hasn't been an issue for me. I'd rather not have it for sure, but my tractor regens like clockwork every 100 hours. It's never regenned otherwise, and the computer's not going to let it go more than 100 hours without a regen.

    In 2018 I bought a 5075e and at 100 hrs the computer went out. I just turned 800 hrs on it and it's doing good. The neighbors bought a 5075e in 2018 also, it just turned 200hrs and I use it to mow hay but the regeneration has stopped working. Taking it to the dealership to get it looked at to see what's going on and why it's not working

    Still think it is funny that the right hand door is an "option" on the standard cab! I go in and out of the right hand door on my Kioti as often as the left hand door, can't imagine a tractor bigger than mine NOT having a door on that side🤣, just silly "cost savings"..... (just my opinion of course)
    That is still a really nice tractor! and good coverage of it TTWT!!
    Someone needs to design a electrically controlled hydraulic top link that you can adjust from inside AND from behind the cab.........

    He has me confused at 7:04 -7:18 about the power reverser…..I shift between forward and reverse all the time with mine without clutching. Also I wonder if the wheelbase is still the same. I noticed the loaders just don’t look right on the 50 series tractors, to much loader sticking out past the front tires. My 5225 has about 4” longer WB.

    Tim, I just ordered one of these bad boys. The 4066R isn't doing what I need it to do. It seems they have fixed a lot issues I thought my first 5075E had. I don't see a lower dash camera angle in this video. Do you remember if they moved the lights switch so your knee doesn't hit it every time you get out of the tractor? That was one of my pet peeves. That switch could be anywhere design-wise.

    Loving the Farm show coverage!!!!!
    Another great video Tim!
    I was actually considering possibly trading off a couple of my current tractors for one of those new 2023 5075Ms, I like several of the improvements, that was till I figured out, just what you had pointed out in your video, that, you can't get any of the 75Hp non DEF machines with command 8 or any of higher end transmission options.
    I have the 32/16 in my 2014 5115M, I don't really need 115 hp but I do like my high low tap to shift.
    That Command 8 I believe is even better.
    I just don't want a machine that I have to feed DEF to, since DEF has a 1-2 year shelf life.
    Later on, down the road, say if I should start to slow down which we all will someday and say I don't really find enough tractor projects in a given year to go through a full tank of DEF, I don't want to deal with it should it go bad in the tank.
    That was the main reason I hunted down the two pre-def 5115Ms I have today, one is 2013 model which has the 16 speed trans with optional crawler gear that I never use the crawler BTW, and the other is a 2014 model that has that 32/16 which I do use that hi/lo tap/shuttle feature all the time, both have power reversers on the columns. I sure would love a e-hydro 75Hp machine with full size cab. Basically, a 5075M setup with an e-hydro trans like my 4066R. I would trade one of my 5115Ms and My 4066R for such a tractor in hart beat should they come out with one.

    • @janzadam
      @janzadam ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sure would be nice if john deere put the engine from the 5075e with no regen and the power quad or power 8 transmission together into the 5075M. It seems like they didn't change the 5075M at all.

    • @jdfleetguy28
      @jdfleetguy28 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@janzadam Yea, I really like the size and capability of the 5 series machines. Thats probably why I have 2 of them.
      But there are still a lot of tasks that I use my 4066R for that just simply really need the smooth steady incremental action of the e-hydro. I really wanting to cut one of my 5115Ms and my 4066R loose or rather get a machine that can cover both of their task. So far Deer just has not ever put that right combo together. I am under the impression there is a new 3R and 4R due out in the next couple years that I truly hope gets me closer to making possible to trade these two tractors off for 1 that can handle both types of tasks I have for them.

    • @janzadam

      @@jdfleetguy28 the 3 and 4 series really are due for a redesign. Hopefully that is coming soon. I also wonder why they dropped 5r tractors, maybe those are getting an update as well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

    The links for the stabilizer bars to mount to the chassis are also different. They also look like they hang farther off the back of the axle than the older mounts did. I wonder if you had to replace damaged old bars, would these newer/beefier bars mount up to the old machine without replacing the chassis mounts for it?

    That Great looking John Deere "branded" green painted tractor came over here from lndia. With No regen on the DPF they are CONSTANTLY recirculating massive EGR's and "cokeing" & killing the engine( just like mahindra). Will it make 10,000 hours ; maybe 650 hours for its first "Big haul in" & every 350hours after that. Poor JD's warrenty rework expenses. Just get an M series & be done with it if you like the "Real brand". "E" Series are for 100 hour a year tractor users.Thank you for the great Video Sir and happy safe tractoring.

      I run with ballast at all times anyway using the box blade. I therefore, always have a versatile tool with me at all times. I'd rather have too much power with the loader than not enough like the 3E series. Don't need it all of the time but I do once in a while and sure appreciate it. I have done some strange things for customers that I've needed brute strength for.

    Here what I want to see from JD in 2023. Drop all E series incredibly basic tractors, that gives you virtually nothing for features at a premium tractor price. JDs have gone up double digits in price the past 2 years, with nothing new included to align increased cost to added capabilities.
    The M Tractor should be the entry level Trim including: MSL/NSL Loader, Quick Disconnect, LED Lighting both front/rear, Telescopic Draft Links, PowerReverser Transmission, Three SCVs Front/Rear, Four Wheel Drive, Electronic Three Point Hitch Raise/Lower fender well, choose of tire types/sizes, Open Operator/Cab, dump all three cylinder engines, and make all engine configurations Series 1-5 inline fours, include snail engine accelerators fixtures all models, and standardize all models look and feel to be the same. The variance today between all model controls layout is staggering.
    JD needs to provide more valuable feature/benefits in its tractor lineup, where elevated price point is met with increased customer value.

    Curious to know how they did this… because the “doc” is the catalyst for the dpf, having a doc with no dpf would be pointless…
    I’m assuming this does have a dpf and will run regens still, the way he said “it takes care of itself” makes me think that they just changed something in the software so the driver can’t skip the regen or run a stationary regen…
    Then again I only know the on highway side of diesels and emissions not so much the off road applications, maybe they are less strict on emission output

      @@TractorTimewithTim price of gasoline is $1.65 per litre here. And diesel is $2.11 per litre. So I wonder if the gasoline tractor would be less expensive to operate, even thou it’s not as fuel efficient.

      @@noelstractors-firewood57 a petrol powered tractor will consume more fuel to do the same amount of work. Tractors with the PTO running and the implement meeting resistance are doing quite a lot of work. Also Diesel engines will last and be more durable than petrol engines.

    Have to wonder who thought up the idea to force pollution control systems to be fitted to farm tractors and why they did.

    • @igneousc

      because we all have to breathe your emissions regardless if we choose to or not

    • @kdegraa
      @kdegraa 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@igneousc it does not work like that. The amount of emissions put out by a tractor or all of the farm tractors in the world is minute compared to the volume of Earth's atmosphere.
