Awesome video. No music, all power, all modes, everything a true enthusiast wants to see and hear! Thanks for the hard work.
Glad you like the video! Thanks for watching!
2SS my favorite Camaro! Ain’t nothing like that raw power. N\A FTW!!
Can’t wait to get mine I’ve been looking at them for a while now
They're nice!
All that noise and it's just a CAT delete? I'm in!
and long tubes
Yeah this car has longtube headers, no cats and no resonator.
Is this legal in cali I fell like I would get arrested but I want it
Nothing is legal in calo
Cali
I was gonna say good doing anything to ur exhaust in cali, but to my knowledge I'm certain its illegal, just keep in mind that's only if you really need to do emissions
Everything in Cali is just about illegal. I got a ticket for a STOCK exhaust on my 2018 Chevy Camaro 1LE. Of course I'm fighting the fix ticket, But it's Bullshit since It's gonna take up some of my time taking it to pass inspection, and you know their gonna hit me with some paperwork Bullshit Fees.
Yeah I'm not a fan of California, and apparently there's a lot of people who agree with me, since the population of California is steadily dropping every year.
Cold brother 08
For sure!
How loud is the cold start with the headers but npp valves closed? Considering doing this but I am not trying to have the neighborhood hate me.
It's pretty quiet with the valves closed, just a tad bit louder than stock.
Awesomee! I have long tube headers too do you recommend no cats?
No cats will give you more horsepower and a lot more sound.
Where did you order your headers
There's a video on my channel of us talking about it, I think it's the unboxing video of these headers.
Hey bro I just got a 19 ss and I want headers but don’t wanna lose my active exhaust
So did you put the headers on and kept the stock x-pipe and mufflers to keep your active exhaust?
We ran aftermarket pipe all the way back to the stock pipes that go into the active-exhaust muffler.
Since you took off both cats did check engine light come on. I did secondary cat delete from your last video came out perfect 💯💯👌 no engine light just like you said 🇺🇸 I’m looking into headers and by the way do you have Instagram?
I have a Facebook page, "1018 Video". Glad everything worked out for you! Thanks for watching!
Did the secondary cats help at all with sound or not really? I’ve heard you can’t even tell.
How do u get it to rev more than 3.5 rpm while parked or neutral
You have to get a tune to do that.
I have a 2019 Camaro 2SS with a manual transmission and I have no rev limiter on my car. Must be an auto thing
@@kev-bot7023 I 100% agree that it’s an automatic thing with these Camaro hope to get a tune soon
@@Sk8dyYTif you put the knob between park and reverse you can rev it all the way to 6k
So your using the stock exhaust but 3” piping?.. so the 3” pips go to the shorter pips on the stock exhaust.. doesn’t that cut air flow and short you some power ... ?.
Yeah, it probably doesn't help, but we like the Active Exhaust, and an aftermarket Active Exhaust muffler is between 1500-2000 dollars.
I have the same car I love the sound! Did you do a tune to get rid of the check engine light after you removed the catalytic converters?
Oh yeah, we got a tune on this car a while ago.
I want to do the same thing to my 2020 ss but I dont know of its illegal in cali
Dilan Menjivar it is depending on the system
@@1018Video where did you get the tune
Very healthy stealthy
Yes. 😎
I’m not too knowledgeable about this subject, but is no cats batter or worse or does it help the sound more?
Running without cats makes the exhaust significantly louder and can add some power, but new catalyst designs are becoming more effective with less restriction so it's not a must anymore.
That really depends on how much hp you're trying to make, if you want a car with 1,000hp, no cats is going to be the way to go. And yes, the vehicle will be quite a bit louder without cats.
is the startup slow because of the tune?
No, that's just something they do, no big deal.
@ stealth mode lmaooo
Not real stealthy with longtubes and no cats huh lol.
Does NPP still work?
Yes, if you watch this video you'll see that we switch modes and show how it sounds in each mode.
No offense but it doesnt sound very good man. Really metallic and raspy sound. High pitched too. Im sure its loud as heck though
In person, in Track Mode, it sounds like a dragster.
Its probably a cell phone and if you're not watching with nice headphones on you wont hear any Bass which phones and cameras have issues picking up bass tones anyways. Watch with nice headphones on and You will hear it is much deeper then listening on your cell phone and im sure in person it thumps. Never judge an exhaust unless it is being recorded with professional equipment. I can show you a Bugatti that sounds alike a ricer.
Because of you cell person sound beutifull
what headers are on the car
I posted a separate video on these headers, the unboxing of them, talking about pricing, and I posted an installation video.
Do y’all stay in arkansas?
Sometimes.
What headers?
There's a video on my channel of us installing these headers and there's another video of us unboxing and talking about them, you should go check them out!
@@1018Video i have these also and they leak everywhere got vbands welded to the collector and got rid if the mid section for a borla
Panagiotis F was the borla louder?
Manual or automatic?
Automatic.
How did the speed engineering headers fit? Were they worth the money?
There's a video on my channel of us installing them on this car.
1018 Video actually just watched that! Looks like the have fit like a glove! Any issues with them this far? Highly thinking of getting them!
So far so good, we got a retune and the car for sure picked up some power.
1018 Video thats awesome! How much power do you figure the car picked up with the speed engineering kit?
@@jerrenlewis1550
I'd say 25whp if I had to guess.
Why does everyone remove the cats?
Cars that have their catalytic converters removed experience an increase in engine horsepower. Removal of catalytic converters from cars allows exhaust gases to exit their engines much faster and at higher levels.
But it is also illegal, your exhaust will smell more, and some states actually check for that stuff. I personally love the sound and rasp, and smell lol.
Does it still pop when u down shift like stock
This one does not, that's in the tune, our tuner said that it does sound cool when it pops when you downshift, but that's not how it's actually suppose to be.
🥵🥵🥵
ripper
Does it still crackle and pop alot?
This car does not, that's all in the tune, our tuner said that is actually not good in the tune so after he correctly tuned the car that went away.
@@1018Video oh okay, thanks bro
