Things are simple, only when you know lol. I'm sure changing oil or building a car engine is simple, but only for those that know how. Thanks for showing us how.
OMG!!!! Thankyou for explaining this I have spent the last week trying to figure this out as to why the bones were incorrect in Unreal. U the best 😃👍👍👍👍
it's possible to export only mesh to linked mesh in unreal engine like blender option. Object>link data transfer>all layer? then select mesh and armature and weight empty group. as for bound in garment to rigs.
Thanks for your videos. Clear and very interesting. And maybe you already know about this, but just in case: There is a Blender addon "Screencast Key" that displays keys and mouse actions you're using while in Blender. Personnal opinion: It makes it easy for viewers to understand everything you do in Blender (even though you're already explaining quit well :) )
Thx for the tips. You have great explaining skills. I have a little question. When adding a socket to bone in UE5, the orientation of sockets don't match with bones coordinates. Where to fix this? In blender or UE5?
If you already had the mesh imported _before_ trying to send2ue with a skeleton, delete the mesh from ue first. I just spent an hour wondering why my skeletal mesh wasn't showing up.
Re-naming the armature to root saved me
yesss same
Great tutorial. And the side-by-side comparison and demonstration 8-9 minutes in is very well done. :)
